The Blue Sky Hotel offers the privacy and tranquility of a secluded beach, with easy access to some of the areas most popular attractions including Xel-Ha and Tulum Ruins. Great restaurants and other services are close by in Tulum or Akumal.

The Setting: The Blue Sky Hotel is located beachfront, along Tankah Bay, fifteen minutes south of Akumal and just north of Tulum. This is a small boutique style hotel offering six well appointed hotel rooms, each with full ocean view.

Tankah Bay is protected by an outer barrier reef which keeps the waters of the bay calm and creates an incredible marine habitat that is excellent for snorkeling and sea kayaking. Along the beach, the Blue Sky hotel consists of two structures centered around the lovely beachside swimming pool.

Each structure houses three unique hotel rooms. The "master suites" occupy the entire second level with a large oceanside terrace for enjoying the very beautiful view. On the beach level are the "Junior Suites" and "Standard Rooms". All rooms have full ocean views, furnished beachside terraces, and are air conditioned. The Junior Suites are the units to the outside of the building, beach level. Standard Rooms are to the inside of the beach level.

The Room Each room is well appointed with one-of-a-kind pieces of art - including original oil paintings imported from Cuba, hand blown vases on marble top tables, silver inlaid full-length mirrors and the handcrafted lamps. Even the light fixtures are handmade and something one would normally find in a private luxury home.

All the beds are Sealy mattresses with Guatemalan bedspreads. A different Mayan hand carved relief is above every bed.

The Master Suite consists of the entire Top Floor top floor. TWO BEDROOMS, plus two bathrooms.
