Description:

Casa de las Conchas is a dream 4500 sq ft beachfront Caribbean vacation home, situated right on the white sandy beach at the quiet residential community of South Akumal. Conchas sports 4 large bedrooms all quipped with King beds. The huge master bedroom on the upper floor is the entire length of the house and complete with a small living area, patio doors out onto the oceanfront terrace, its own dressing room, and a huge bathroom with jacuzzi tub!

The second upper bedroom also has doors leading out onto the ocean front terrace. Conchas actually sports over 2000squ ft of outdoor decks and balconies! Wake up to the sparkling Caribbean sea and the sound of the water lapping against the shore. The 3rd bedroom on the upper floor has a great view over the tropical gardens to the rear of Casa de las Conchas, and also leads onto its own en-suite bathroom and ocean view kitchen, and fitness area (with double pull out bed for extra sleeping). This bedroom also has its own access from an external staircase so is ideal for those looking for a little extra privacy.

As we go downstairs we are welcomed by the large family kitchen leading onto the living area and ocean front dining room. There is plenty of seating for large groups to dine together here. If you don't feel like cooking then we can highly recommend hiring Chayo to cook you and your family a feast of delicious local delicacies or traditional Mayan cuisine! Upon arrival at the villa you will be greeted by a complimentary gift basket of goodies including tequila and some nice cold beers. In the northern part of the villa there is a further 4th bedroom with King sized bed and again its own en-suite and separate kitchen and living area. This fourth bedroom, like the garden view bedroom upstairs, also has its own additional independent access.

From the living room walk out through the patio doors onto the outdoor terrace with 2 large dining tables and chairs for wonderful Caribbean alfresco breakfasts in the sun, daytime BBQs, or dining under the stars. Take a dip in the great freshwater swimming pool or relax on white sandy beach under one of the house's 3 thatched palapas. The bay at Akumal South is protected by a double barrier reef just 100m offshore making the water in the bay very calm almost all year round and awesome for snorkeling. For this reason it is home to a whole host of tropical reef life including endangered sea turtles who nest right here on the beach from May to September every year. The villa offers 3 kayaks for guest use so grab one and explore the bay!
