Casita Debita, a charming studio bungalow is one of your best values in Akumal .

Situated directly behind an oceanfront villa, Casita Debita offers close proximity to the beach.

The newly renovated studio, a spacious one room living area with a high vaulted ceiling, is perfect for a couple or the single traveler. A king bed faces the living room that seats 3 and offers TV viewing from either the bed or the sofa of Sky satellite TV. A dining room table that seats 4 is also in this area. There is also a portable CD player, some CDs for music and TV music channels. The unit’s air conditioner is located high above the front door and there is also a ceiling fan located over the bed.

Off to the side of the room is a full kitchen with counter space for food preparation, four burner stove, large refrigerator, micro, blender and coffeemaker. Behind the bedroom wall is a marble tiled bathroom with a shower. A hairdryer, iron and bottled water for cooking are also provided. Also included for your use, is a private tropical garden equipped with table and umbrella, chairs, hammock and a lounge chair and a charcoal grill.

For ocean enthusiasts, beach access is at various openings along the street. There is also a great beach bar with restaurant and dive center just steps from the casita. Lightweight portable beach chairs, and a shade umbrella are also supplied for your use along with a list of other local beaches to explore. Many of these beaches also provide shade palapas, loungers, restaurants and many water activities.

Maid service is provided 6 days a week for Casita Debita and our English speaking caretaker, who lives on the premises, is also available for fishing charters and guided tours. Both Casa Palapa and Casita Debita have free WiFi internet throughout the property for guests. Just bring your WiFi compatible laptop with you and the property manager will give you the access code to connect to the network when you check in. There is also a convenience store next door for any incidentals you might need.

Restaurants, internet café, yoga, small food stores, and shopping are all found in a 5 minute drive to Akumal Bay. The beach at Aventuras Akumal offers some of the best snorkeling, diving and fishing found in the Caribbean. All of this can be enjoyed right offshore. During the summer, watch the sea turtles come ashore to nest on the Aventuras beach.
