Description:

Spacious and serene, Quinta del Mar, is located at the mouth of Yal-Ku Lagoon with spectacular views out over the sparkling Caribbean Sea. A large lagoon side patio and swimming pool create the setting for a classic Akumal vacation. Quinta del Mar is a very private home with open access to Yal-Ku Lagoon and a great lagoon front pool. Each room is designed to highlight the spectacular view of turquoise sea against blue sky.

Quinta del Mar has four ocean view bedrooms, each spacious and breezy with private bath and air conditioning. The master bedroom is on the upper floor with a spacious ensuite bathroom with single vanity and shower. There are 2 further guest rooms on the upper floor with a connecting door between them. Great for families. One bedroom has an ensuite bathroom, and the other (with 2 double beds) has it's own bathroom with shower next to it, by the stairs. This bathroom can also be shared by a guest wishing to sleep on the day/single bed on the upper landing. The upper guest bedroom with the queen bed and ensuite bathroom, also has it's own private stair access leading up from the living area. On the lower flloor, there is a further guest bedroom with views over the pool, lagoon, and Caribbean beyond. This bedroom is furnished with a queen bed and has it's own private bathroom with shower. Quinta del Mar also offers a large dining room, living area, fully equipped kitchen.

Outside, there is a large sun terrace with outdoor dining table and a charcoal grill for your enjoyment. There is also a hammock and outdoor shower for rinsing off after some great snorkeling in the natural aquarium that is Yalku Lagoon. There is a short private walkway to the water's edge from the villa. There are also plenty of sun loungers for relaxing in the sun and working on your tan.

Mercedes and Alejandro, on site caretakers for over a decade, are available to prepare a delicious meal of Yucatecan or Mexican specialties on request. In addition, Qunita del Mar now also offers all guests a complimentary basket of fruit and breads upon arrival, plus complimentary cook services for 3 meals during your stay (meals can be prepared monday - saturday, cost of groceries is additional).
