When you walk into Villa de la Playa you are greeted with a lovely homely open plan kitchen, living and dining area with a fabulous view over the sparkling Caribbean. The lounge is equipped with a TV with DVD, VCR, and Sky. There is also WiFi internet for to keep you connected to the outside world should you so wish. Large patio doors lead you out onto the side terrace where you can lounge with a cocktail by the pool and enjoy delicious fresh air dining on the BBQ grill. Why not have a relaxing massage by the pool by Villa de la Playas in house professionally trained masseuse. A purpose built path leads you across the shoreline into the water directly in front of the villa for some great snorkeling and swimming, and there is also a small private beach path leading out onto the white sandy beach of Half Moon Bay.

Inside there are 5 comfortable bedrooms. Wake up to incredible ocean views from your King sized bed in the ground floor master bedroom. Stroll through the patio doors directly onto the poolside area for some incredible sunrises over the bay. This room has an ensuite bathroom, air-conditioning, and in addition to the patio doors, has access doors from both the living area and also its own outside door to the car parking area. This room also features a sink and fridge making this a perfect option for a couple who would like to come and go without disturbing the rest of the group.

On the other side of the house are two more great air-conditioned bedrooms with ocean views. These bedrooms have one double bed and 2 single beds, and share an ensuite bathroom making this an ideal solution for a family.

Upstairs there are 2 more bedrooms all with ocean views. Patio doors lead out onto the upper terrace for evening star gazing or morning sunrises.

There are two stairways (one from inside the house and one exterior staircase leading up from the car parking area) leading to the upper terrace giving access to the 2 other upper bedrooms. Both bedrooms are air-conditioned, have ocean views, are en-suite and have double beds, and also include small fridges. This again makes these 2 bedrooms ideal for guests wishing to come home later in the evening from the nearby La Buena Vida bar and restaurant without disturbing the rest of their group.

Villa de la Playa is certainly the best value 5 bedroom property that Akumal has to offer. It is the ideal vacation home for a family of up to 10 people.
