Kokobeach is the perfect vacation choice for large families or groups! This expansive 6 bedroom home faces Akumal's Half Moon Bay and the sparkling Caribbean Sea beyond. Located in the heart of Akumal, Villa Kokobeach comes complete with a large ocean side swimming pool, private beach area, and brand new private pier. This ample home has plenty of outdoor and indoor living and dining areas as well as a private penthouse apartment and studio apartment for extra group privacy and space.

Walk up the path through the well tended tropical gardens and into the large open plan living, dining, and kitchen area. This area has an enormous faux marble kitchen complete with all the mod cons (complimentary fresh Mexican Guacamole with totopos, beers and fresh squeezed orange juice upon arrival), a breakfast bar that seats 6, a great dining table with room for 10, and then through the sliding terrace doors there is further outdoor dining space for 18. Perfect for poolside cook-outs or alfresco meals in the warm Caribbean air. The living area is furnished with a large comfortable crescent shaped sofa and plenty of fun retro beanbags for sitting back and watching either satellite TV on the large flat screen, or one of the great selection of over 200 DVD movies.

On the main level there is a well appointed guest bedroom with ocean and pool views furnished with 2 queen sized beds, sliding doors out to the pool area, and an ensuite bathroom which has Jack and Jill doors allowing it to be used as a day/guest bathroom also. Another large ground floor bedroom can be found to the northern side of the property, furnished with a King sized bed, a double sofa bed, ensuite bathroom, and also sliding doors with ocean view.

Upstairs there is a big master bedroom with a king sized bed, ensuite bathroom with ocean view bath tub, and sliding doors onto its own private terrace with wonderful views over the bay! Just along the hall is a small children's bedroom with 2 bunk beds and its own bathroom with shower right next door.

The Penthouse is located on the upper floor with its own separate stairwell and exterior entrance. The penthouse is a one bedroom apartment with a king sized bed and queen futon in the ensuite bedroom, comfortable sofas in the lounge area, 2 of which convert into sofa beds, a dining area with seating for 4, a kitchenette (microwave, coffee maker and refrigerator), and 2 wonderful private terraces giving views both over the bay to the east and the lush mayan jungle to the west.

Below the Penthouse, again with its own private exterior entrance, is the ground floor Studio. This is a wonderful space for teenagers and is furnished with a King sized bed, 2 futons, plenty of beanbags, a kitchenette, large closet/dressing room, and ensuite bathroom.

All of the bedrooms at Villa Kokobeach are air conditioned and have a guest safe and a locking closet to keep your valuables secure. All bedrooms have TV and DVD, with the living room, Master bedroom, Penthouse and Studio also having Satellite TV. There is WiFi internet access throughout the house and all of the bathrooms have hair driers. The only exception is the small childrens bedroom with the bunk beds which does not have TV nor a security safe.

Kokobeach boasts a large fresh water pool facing the ocean complete with shallow childrens area and aquatic solarium. There are plenty of sunbeds for working on your tan either on the well tended lawn areas, or on the 3405 sq ft private beach area near the water. There is also a fabulous palapa with hammocks for snoozing the afternoon away in the warm Caribbean breeze, plus Kokobeach's brand new pier which is a great place to snorkel or launch kayaks for exploring the bay. The pier is also an incredibly romantic place to sit in the evenings with your favorite cocktail and watch as a million stars come out into the Caribbean night sky.
