Kosmos Brought to you by the creators of Sac-Ba this earth friendly little shop offers original t-shirts, beachwear, photographs, and global percussions. Mexicarte Folkart Gallery Fine art, jewelry and handcrafts. Carefully selected for the authenticity of craft from artisans without direct access to large scale marketing. ATM

An ATM machine is available in Akumal at the Super Chomak grocery store. ATM's are also located in Playa del Carmen at banks and Super Markets and in Tulum. ATM's provide funds in Mexican Pesos at bank daily exchange rate. Usage fees can be high.

Akumal Pueblo is home to one Catholic Church which offers mass each Monday at 5:00 PM. Mass is in Spanish.

Rent-a-Cel An easy way to send and receive short text messages and to receive local calls. Cost is just one peso per minute air time between two RENT-A-TEL phones. Located in the offices of TSA (Travel Services of Akumal, next to the Akumal Dive Shop)

Super Chomak Located just at the entry to Akumal. A large selection of imported products, plus liquor, beer and wine. Swim wear, sandals and other things you might find you need and don't have. Open 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM Daily. No liquor sales after 3:00 PM on Sundays. Credit Cards Accepted.

El Pueblito Located across from Super Chomak, just next to the Mulgrew Lavanderia. Limited selection, many national goods, small import section.

Pharmacy services are available in Akumal as well as Playa del Carmen, Tulum and Cancun. For the most product availability and best prices we recommend the Soriana or Chedraui pharmacies in Playa del Carmen or Cancun. In Akumal, the pharmacy is located across the highway in Akumal Pueblo.

Personalized Tours by Miguel Miguel is available for many area tours and can customize to fit your group big or small. He specializes in the Puuc Route, of Mayan Ruins located in the upper Yucatan.
