CELEBRATE WORLD TURTLE DAY!
A fun fact in honor of World Turtle Day, and with special thanks to Centro Ecologico Akumal (CEA). Did you know? In 2012 there were 200 green turtle nests that produced 14,856 hatchlings and 594 green turtle nests that produced 42,685 hatchlings, demonstrating that Akumal is an extremely important nesting ground for sea turtles.
