The Romero Complex
An exclusive and versatile complex located on the lagoon front at the northern end of the village of Akumal. The Romero Complex comprises of 2 luxury villas with 5 and 3 bedrooms each, plus 4 well appointed 2 bedroom townhouses. The Romero Complex is an exclusive private complex comprising of 2 luxury villas and 4 beautifully appointed townhouses. The Romero Complex is located right on the waterfront at Yalku Lagoon at the northern end of the eco village of Akumal. It's within walking distance of plenty of amenities, only 2 blocks from the white sandy beach at half moon bay, and allows it's guests free private access into the natural aquarium that is Yalku lagoon 24 hours per day. Casa Romero is in the heart of the complex and is a spacious 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath villa complete with ample indoor and outdoor living areas, a wonderful private pool with sunning area set in tropical gardens on the lagoon front, and sleeps a maximum of 8 guests. The tower at Casa Romero is a great place to get away from it all, adn enjoy fantastic views across the lagoon and the Caribbean Sea. In front of Romero is ample off street parking with a wonderful fountain feature in the courtyard. Flanking Casa Romero on either side are the French Angel and Blue Tang townhouses. Named after the abundance of tropical fish that can be found in the lagoon, each of these townhouses boast 2 large air-conditioned ensuite bedrooms with lagoon views, large open plan living and dining areas with sliders opening out onto private lagoon terraces, and fully equipped kitchens. On the roof of each townhouse there are fabulous sun decks complete with plenty of sunbeds and chairs, both shade and sun, and each has its own private rooftop heated swimming pool. the views from the roofs are absolutely spectacular, giving 360 degree views of the lagoon, sparkling Caribbean Sea to trhe east, and the lush mayan jungle to the west. French Angel townhouses sleep up to 6 people each, and Blue Tang have a maximum occupancy of 4 guests per townhouse. Blue Tang is an adults only building so no kids under 15 years of age please. To the west of the complex is the lovely Casa Delfin. Delfin offers 5 bright and airy ensuite bedrooms, ample living areas, and a private roof top heated swimmingpool with fabulous views over the lagoon. Again, meander through the tropical gardens in front of Cas Delfin for great snorkeling in the tranquil waters of the lagoon. Casa Delfin sleeps a maximum of 14 people. All properties are comfortably furnished and tastefully decorated, and have WiFi internet access, Satellite TV with US programming, DVD, CD, airconditioned bedrooms, and fully equipped kitchens. If you dont fancy cooking, cook services can be provided at a small aditional charge. The Romero Complex is also within a short walk of good local restaurants. If you are planning a wedding or a special event, The Romero Complex is an excellent option, allowing fully catered events to be held in the grounds. The complex can accomodate up to 44 people and can cater to events for around 150 guests. An additional event fee is required for parties, and are generally calculated on a case by case basis. Please ask us for details. The Romero Complex is an excellent Akumal option whether your group size is just 2 people looking for a romantic getaway, or a large group of 42.

- All properties feature WiFi internet, Satellite TV with US programming, DVD, CD, full well equipped kitchens, air conditioned ensuite bedrooms, private swimming pools, and private free access to Yalku lagoon. All villas come complete with linens, bath and beach towels, maid service 6 days per week, cook services available (at additional charge), night time security, and friendly staff.

Electricity in Mexico is very expensive and electric generation adds stress on an environment already suffering the consequences of rapid growth. Some of our clients would rather not add to the problem and are quite willing to use fans and cross-ventilation instead of Air Conditioning. If you want, we can honor your commitment to the planet, turn off the AC and pool heaters, and pass the savings on to you: just select the Green Discount Rates option.
