There are number of Riviera Maya golf courses, available for all levels of play during your Akumal vacation. Below is a list of courses with contact information.

The Playacar Golf Course is a world class 7144 yards, 18 Hole Par 72 championship Golf Course designed by Robert Von Hagge. This fabulous course is certainly one of the very best courses in the Riviera Maya and is located in an high end development called Playacar on the southern side of Playa del Carmen on Paseo Xaman Ha.  The number to the Playacar pro shop is 011-52-984-873-0624 and 873-0624 if calling locally.  

Between Playa Del Carmen and Akumal there is a small but certainly challenging course in Puerto Aventuras. This 36 par bermuda grass, jungle golf course was designed in 1991 by Thomas Leman and is a definitely favorite of the local golfers and visitors “in the know”.  The number to the Puerto course if dialing from the States is 011-52-984-873-5109 and 873-5109 if calling locally.

 Pok Ta Pok Cancun Golf Club

Oldest and most prestigious golf club in Cancun located in the heart of the hotel zone. 18 hole par 72 championship course includes driving range, 2 putting greens , 3 tennis courts, and pro shop.  Tel: 998 883 1230 

Cozumel Country Club

Very challenging Nicklaus Design Group par 72 course.  Located 15 mins from the international pier and 15mins from Cozumel Airport.  Tel: 987 872 9570 

 El Camaleon Mayakoba

Beautiful 18 hole par 72 Greg Norman course. Pro shop, driving range, golf carts with GPS yardage information software. Feb.19-25, 2007 the PGA will host the 'Mayakoba Classic'  The first money paying  tournament ever held in Mexico, with a purse of $3.5 million.  Located 45mins south of Cancun at The Fairmont Mayakoba.  Tel: 984 206 3088 

Hilton Cancun Golf Club
