Located away from the crowds at the northern point of Half Moon Bay, La Sirena is quiet and peaceful. Some of the best views of the bay are available from here. The La Sirena property centers around an enclosed garden courtyard. The two bedroom condominiums enjoy a full ocean view on the sea side and lovely cool garden view overlooking the courtyard to the interior. The garden courtyard centers around a large swimming pool that includes a full lap lane.

Sirena 13 is a third level (top floor) unit overlooking the shoreline and beach area. High ceilings and a spacious floor plan help to create an easy airy feeling within the unit. From the main entrance you will arrive at the open living space that includes a dining area with seating for four, very large kitchen with ocean view and breakfast bar and main sitting area. The sunken sitting area is just a few steps down from the main entry level, creating the unobstructed ocean view from rear to front of the unit. The living area is comfortably furnished with built-in section sofa and is cooled with a large and quiet operating mini-split air conditioner. Glass doors off the sunken sitting area take you to the ocean side terrace that is well furnished for enjoying the view and breezes. This is a perfect spot to take it all in during the early morning and evening hours.

To the rear of the unit are the two bedrooms.
-The master bedroom is cool and restful. It is furnished with a king bed enjoys a garden side terrace and private bath.
-The guest room is also furnished with king bed and has a garden side terrace and private bath.

Both bedrooms enjoy pillow top mattresses and are cooled with quiet and efficient mini-split air conditioners.

Loved the view and the location. Snorkeling right in front (water shoes really helpful). No direct access to sand beach, had to cut through a property down the road. Very little sargassum for us…it was a problem further down the beach.

Wonderfully comfortable 2 bed 2 bath with amazing views. My wife and I absolutely loved the unit, the location and the neighborhood. It was like a retreat, yet very close to good restaurants, coffee place and Snorkling.

So beautiful! When you open the door the view is breathtaking. The ocean on one side and the pool/gardens on the other. We loved everything about it! The neighborhood is great too. It was just fantastic! It was our 30th wedding anniversary and it was perfect. Next time we'll take the unit on the 1st floor. Our knees are creaky! Lol!

LaSirena 13 is a beautiful retreat in Akumal. On the North end of Half Moon Bay, it is a quiet and serene condo, decorated in a traditional Mexican style. The private balcony off the master has a beautiful view of the courtyard (that is stunning). And the back-facing balcony provides beautiful views of the Bay all day long. A couple things to note: the living area seating is not very comfortable - the “sofas” are cement benches with thin cushions, so bring some blankets, and Unit 13 is a third floor walk-up, so be mindful if you have trouble with stairs. Finally, you can walk right out back to snorkel in the Bay, where we saw a variety of tropical fish and rays. Overall, Sirena 13 is a quaint retreat in an equally charming, friendly town. We’ll be back!

We loved our stay in La Sirena #13. The condo was very clean and we appreciated the daily housekeeping. The grounds and pool are spectacular and well-maintained. Although steps from the beach, we actually never snorkeled in the bay that was our backyard, due to choppy seas and high wind. We did, however, walk over to Yal-Ku Cenote, literally minutes away, and snorkeled in the cenote all day, twice. Very cool! We also ate at several local restaurants favoring Lol Ha over the others for its waterfront location, great service and good food. The concierge, David, was extremely helpful and quick to respond. On his recommendation we hired a local driver through Namaste, who took us to La Tortuga Cenotes (Tulum was closed) and on another day, to the Coba ruins and Choo-Ha cenote. Marcia at Akumal was also extremely helpful, friendly and a pleasure to work with. We will definitely be back.

I have never had such an amazing Airbnb experience. First AkumalDirect messaged me saying that there was a lot of seaweed on the shore and that it would impact my vacation. I thought this was thoughtful but then they went beyond and above and upgraded our apartment to this one here. The apartment was beyond beautiful. It had modern touches like Netflixs and all the kitchen gadgets you could dream of but it was also so homey. It felt like a home away from home. The local cenote was still closed but we were able to buy some snorkelling gear at OXXO and head over to the Lagoon to see some amazing sea life. You have everything you need to cook including oils and amazing seasoning. Breathtaking views. You don't want to miss it!

Si te interesa un lugar tranquilo, cómodo con una vista espectacular la Sirena #13 es el lugar perfecto. Estuvimos 3 noches y regresamos 2 noches adicionales, disfrutamos mucho nuestra estadía. El apartamento estuvo muy limpio, tiene todo lo que se necesita toallas, artefactos de cocina, aire acondicionado, las camas son firmes y la piscina es perfecta para pasar un rato después de un día de actividades. El lugar donde está es ideal porque el sargazo no se posa frente al condominio y no llega el olor. Cerca del apartamento hay buenos restaurantes Jungle Café, La Buena Vida y Turtle Bay Bakery que se consigue buena comida. También hay un grocery que hace un pan delicioso. Pasamos unos días muy relajados. Gracias a Akumal Direct por recomendarnos este lugar.

We enjoyed two relaxing weeks in La Sirena Condo 13. We had stayed there 6 years ago and it was exactly how we remembered it. Third floor walkup ( a bit of a challenge for hauling up our luggage) but great views of the sea. Wonderful location for watching birds in the trees. Coffee on the balcony in the morning and drinks in the evening. The master bedroom was very comfortable. Maid service daily was appreciated. We could walk to restaurants on the strip or visit the Que Onda bakery for bread and more. Concierge service made a huge difference, they organized transfer to and from the aiport and also connected us with an excellent car rental agency, Quality Cart Rental. The car was delilvered to our unit and picked up when we were through. All in all a fantastic holiday getaway.

Akumal was perfect for a quiet tropical holiday — a great balance between nature and a lively touristic vibe. The beach was gorgeous, snorkeling amazing, and the location peaceful yet close to restaurants and local spots. Having a rental car made it easy to explore the surroundings and discover even more of the area’s beauty. The accommodation couldn’t have been better: a lovely pool, spacious rooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and the fantastic bonus of having a BBQ on the balcony. The apartment was very well equipped, and everything felt truly welcoming from the moment we arrived.

Quiet location as we wanted as my teenage grandchildren are autistic and struggle with noise. Having apartments next to each other worked brilliantly and they were both so well appointed.
Pools were lovely and I was able to use them despite my disability! Beautiful gardens too.
Taxis very expensive though and didnt always turn up!
Not given any checkout details but that's a minor issue!

This is a great location on Halfmoon Bay. The snorkeling in the middle of the bay is wonderful and it's super handy to have Yal Kul just up the road. It's a pleasant walk to Akumal Beach for shops and more snorkeling. We did not need a car, thanks to Steve & Suzette's kindness to help us with some groceries! We highly recommend AK restaurant, Chino was so friendly and entertaining! La Lunita up the road was lovely. The La Sirena condo residents/owners and the maintenance team were all so friendly and helpful with the issues we had with the hot water in our unit. We finally got it sorted out after our first week. It took a while and it was frustrating but everyone was so responsive that we just rolled with it. The water pressure is low, typical for Mexico? Daily maid service and water delivery was great to have. The kitchen in unit 13 is nicely stocked with plenty of glassware and options for cooking. The bedding and towels are ready for replacement though. Overall the condo was very comfortable and clean. The garden and pool area at this condo is beautiful, calm and relaxing. It is very well maintained, loved it! Make sure you get to know Kilo :) We had an awesome vacation here!

We had an amazing week in March (18-25) at the condo. The location is spectacular, the access to snorkeling right out front was key! We had a couple of maintenance issues pop up during our stay, and Francesca and her team were very quick to fix them and we had no complaints. La Sirena condos are at the very end of Half Moon Bay, about one mile from Akumal beach activities. The location requires either a car, golf cart or bike to get to/from Akumal central. There were bikes at La Sirena but unfortunately they were not included in the price of the unit. An additional $8 (US) per bike, per day was required. As feedback for the property management, I would have liked to see these bikes offered as complimentary rentals included in the weekly rental price. That aside, we really enjoyed our week, and the fact that housekeeping kept our 5 gallon fresh water dispenser stocked all week was so essential!

I have traveled in and out of Akumal since 1992, and have rented 3 properties from Loco ****** and Akumal Direct. This is a testimony to how over the years, I have enjoyed and appreciated the services and professionalism of these fine managers. La Sirena is lovey and a breath of fresh air. It was wonderful to sleep listening to the sea, and enjoying the panoramic view from sunrise to sunset. If you are a guest with mobility issues, this might not be a unit for you to consider. It is 38 steps up to get to this magical nest in the sky. The pool is magnificent, and the air circulation caused by sea breezes makes this unit fresh and delightful.

We stayed in Unit #13. It actually looks like the pictures - even better in fact. Beautiful views, calm and peaceful surroundings. My kids really enjoyed the pool. Staff was very helpful and friendly. This is a great place to stay if you are looking for peace and quiet in a paradise-like setting. We are already planning another trip.

This is an outstanding location for a SCUBA diving vacation. The property was in great condition. The local restaurants were excellent. The snorkeling in the lagoon was spectacular and we were in easy proximity to the Cenotes. The only negative was the lack of internet access and the condo itself could have been a little cleaner.

Can't recommend Akumal and La Sirena enough. Fantastic location in Maya Riveria, not crowded, convenient to Tulum and Playa Del Carmen. Half Moon Bay (right in front of porpoerty) and Yal Ku lagoon (a 3 minute walk from the property) are fantastic for snorkeling. Great places to eat in Akumal from the inexpensive to fine dining.

We had a great stay at La Sirena Unit 13. In addition to its excellent location, this condo was the best equipped rental we've ever stayed in. It has everything you could possible need for a great vacation. Combined with snorkeling out your front door, a fabulous pool, and a lovely terrace to relax on and watch the ocean, this is a great North Akumal option.

I went here for my birthday. The house was so cozy and staff were very helpful. I loved the scenery. Waking up in the morning to the beautiful sea. What I found exceptional is how safe it is.
