Casa Azul Riviera is located along Yal-Ku Lagoon, which means easy access to great snorkeling, a quiet peaceful setting perfect for bird watching and exploring the very important and beautiful lagoon-mangrove ecosystem and marine nursery.

What makes this home so special is the large outdoor entertainment area off of a large chest deep swimming pool and spacious gardens and sun bathing areas. This is perfect place for families to relax and enjoy each other.

Azul Riviera is centrally located in Akumal and is one of our largest villas - with nearly 6,400 square feet of interior and exterior space. Large families, retreats, and other groups find it ideal because of it's open floor plan and high capacity.

The large great room has cathedral seatings and can comfortably seat up to 14 people. Miguel, the caretaker, is an excellent cook and is available to prepare meals for your group. Be sure and try his tamales!

Two outdoor palapas are provided for guests to enjoy. The first along the lagoon is furnished with lounge chairs and hammocks. The second palapa provides cover for the large outdoor entertainment area that is complete with wet bar, tables, chairs, hammocks and other furnishings.

Casa Azul Riviera has four air conditioned bedrooms with LOTS of beds and three bathrooms. The master suite is on the upper level offering an incredible view of the lagoon and a huge private outdoor sun terrace. The master bedroom is furnished with king bed.

The two main level guest rooms are both furnished with king beds and have provide additional sleeping in loft areas that are furnished with two twin beds each. Kids love this!

Additional sleeping arrangements include a double sofa bed in one downstairs bedroom, a single day bed in another and a double day bed in the tower room. The new children's room is downstairs and has a double bed. The bathrooms are all enormous and offer a lot of privacy. There is a Jacuzzi tub in the downstairs bath.
