The beach in front of Casa Maya is always quiet and relaxed. Sea Turtles are nesting along the beach area May through September and the snorkeling is always fantastic. The beach area in front of Casa Maya is a perfect spot for watching the sea turtles feed in Half Moon Bay and enjoying the view and the breeze. There is little development along this stretch of the bay and it makes Akumal that much more enjoyable, even during the busiest times.
