Casa Playa Del Caribe

Playa del Caribe is a spacious and airy villa located on the sand beach of South Akumal. South Akumal, located just two kilometers south of Akumal proper is known for its great beach and quiet secluded feel. This gated community is located on South Akumal Bay offering great opportunities for snorkel, kayaking and beach walking.

Playa del Caribe enjoys an excellent location on South Akumal Bay. The beach here is soft white sand which allows very easy entry into the water for swimming and snorkeling. This is a great beach for small children or anyone who prefers a soft sand bottom and gentle slope into the water.

Palms and Coco trees on both the garden and ocean side of Playa del Caribe create shady cool areas and lots of privacy. The focus of Playa del Caribe's design is the lovely cathedral ceiling rising high over the principal living area. The high ceiling creates an open wall of windows over two stories high, bathing the villa in Caribbean sunlight.

The interior of Playa del Caribe consists of two level. The first level includes a dining area and fully equipped kitchen with marble topped center island. The dining area leads to a sunken living area with large sofa. The entire first floor is oriented towards the ocean so that the incredible view is available from all places.

Two bedrooms are located on the first floor. Each bedroom is air conditioned and enjoys a private beach side patio accessed via sliding glass doors. One of the guest bedrooms is furnished with two queen beds, the other with two double beds. One of the bedrooms has a private bath while the other has access to a common bath on the first floor.

A gently curving stairway winds to the second level where two master suites are located. Both master suites are furnished with king bed and enjoy private baths, ocean views and are air conditioned with glass doors leading to the large second level terrace.

A common area with table and chairs creates space and privacy between the bedrooms. From the second level a second staircase leads you to the rooftop observation area and absolutely unforgettable views.

Lounge chairs and sea kayaks are available for guests to use and enjoy. Terraces and patios include the large beach level patio accessible via the main living area. Private beach side patios are located off of both first floor bedrooms. A large terrace with access from both bedrooms is located on the second level and is great place to enjoy the view. The rooftop observation deck is perfect for enjoying the night sky or the incredible sunrises over the Caribbean. All patios are well furnished.
