Ice Age Museum - Dos Ojos Park

The cenotes and underground caves of the Yucatan Peninsula have long been the final resting place for all kinds of people and animals dating back tens of thousands of years, and have only recently been explored.   The Dos Ojos park is home to the oldest human remains found in the Americans, along with the remains of many animals dating back to the Ice Age.  This is a small but fascinating museum, and well worth a visit.  Your entrance ticket also includes entry to swim in the cenote.
