Private Ground Transport
Ground Transport Services are available for small or very large groups of people. Generally speaking, one way travel between airport and Akumal costs between $60.00 US and $85.00 US for 2 people and up to $200.00 US for six. We would be happy to help with ground transport arrangements. This is offered only as a complimentary service to our clients therefore price is subject to change without notice. Always be sure to have a printed confirmation voucher clearly stating the time and date of your service, the number of people in your group and the price you are to pay the driver. It is generally the custom to tip your driver if you happy with your service.

Please ask for special instructions in the off chance that you do not see your driver after clearing customs. Most agencies will provide an emergency contact or cell phone number.

Transportes Turisticos de la Mora A small private transport company that we have worked with for many years. Carlos de la Mora is a great guide and very reliable. Not a bad cook either.

Grupo Intermar Riviera Maya Intermar Riviera Maya is one the largest most professional transport services available. Please email their sales team for reservations and information on group tours as well.

Riviera Maya Shuttle Bus
Riviera Maya Shuttle Bus, with service between Cancun International Airport and the downtown Playa del Carmen Bus Station. One way ticket price is 80.00 pesos (as of Jan. 2005), or roughly $8.00 US one way. The shuttle is easily located from airport terminal. The shuttle departs Playa del Carmen from the bus station located at the corner of 5th Av. and Benito Juarez. This station is also known as the "tourist" or "centro" station.
