Overall a great trip for us.<br/>The only real issue was the sargassum seaweed on the beach property. Also the maintenance people did not attempt to remove it rather they we're spraying it with some substance.

Unfortunately during high sargassum season it futile to attempt manual removal but the spray is a biodegradable solution to keep the sulfuric scent under control. Peaceful Relaxing Vacation

We could hear the waves from our place all night. Also, the front desk folks helped us with everything we needed. This is a very laid back place where you can just come and not be distracted by crowds of tourists rushing to get to their next excursion. We rented bikes for the week. When we had a health emergency, the staff was right there to do whatever they needed to get the help right away. Also loved the maid service every other day. We will be back. Only issue was this is on the third floor. Great for the view, hard on the knees if you have issues.

We were able to relax and just have a chill vacation.
We really enjoyed our condo! It was right on the beach as described. Only problem was the sea grass. Nobody’s fault, but we couldn’t get in the water. The guys worked tirelessly everyday trying to remove it.<br/>The guys in the office were super helpful...especially Adrian. La Bahia 5 gives you exactly that kind of Akumal vacation.
Located on the third floor of the La Bahia condominium building, this two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo combines an outstanding beachfront location with the practical comforts of a home away from home. It accommodates up to four guests and is especially well suited to two couples, friends traveling together, or a small family.
The main living and dining area faces Half Moon Bay, bringing the Caribbean view into the heart of the condo. Glass doors lead outside to the furnished oceanfront terrace, a favorite spot for morning coffee, afternoon reading, or relaxing after a day in the water.
The fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to enjoy meals at home and includes a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, cookware, utensils, purified drinking water, and purified ice.
The primary bedroom is furnished with a king bed and has its own en suite bathroom. The second bedroom also has a private en suite bathroom and can be configured as either one king bed or two single beds, giving families and groups more flexibility.
WiFi and Smart TV are provided, along with linens, beach towels, shampoo and bath soap, a hair dryer, and a washer and dryer inside the condo.
