Wonderful Stay!
Reviewed on 2024-11-26 by , Fairhaven, MA UnknownMy wife and I really enjoyed ourselves at Lol Ka'naab Unit 1, and in Akumal. The property managers were quick to respond anytime we reached out, the maintenance & cleaning staff were very kind. The place could use just a bit of updating, but we found that charming, and it did not hinder our stay at all. The beds were new and comfy, the a/c worked great, the shower was hot. The whole place was super clean. And the view of the pool and ocean is spectacular! We made a couple of meals in the condo and found utensils and such to do so. We loved Jungle Cafe & La Beuna Vida restaurants super close by. We swam with the turtles at the sanctuary near by. That was epic! We also visited Aktun Chen. Enjoyed a guided tour through a stalagmite cave and cenote. Absolutely amazing. We had fun on a little tour to Tulum Ruins about 25 minutes away. It was wonderful to come back to the peace and quiet of Akumal to sleep while listening to the ocean waves. The neighborhood felt very safe. We’ll be back for sure, and would stay here again.

Lovely oceanfront condo

One issue: not enough parking at the location. 2nd issue: no response from the Property Management after multiple calls to the number provided. However the location is great, near restaurants and of course snorkeling right out front. Just respond to phone calls and it would be perfect!!

3 Day Stay
Reviewed on 2024-02-02 by Robert S. , Tucson, AZ USThe condo was very nice. The view is amazing since it is right on the ocean. IT is quite a distance from Tulum, but we knew that ahead of time. We needed to rent a car, The maid service was exceptional. The only small complaint was the lounge chairs on the beach were all occupied the second day, because the other guests left their towels on them when they went inside. I would definitely recommend these condos.

The description and pictures matched what we were getting (to be totally honest we also knew both condominiums from earlier stays).
The only hint I'd provide for the team is to provide phone number top Loco ****** team as this provides expected assurance that when in troubles there's someone who will pick up the phone. With that said, once booking has been confirmed we've received phone number to the local management company, so the only missing point is phone number to be able to talk live over the phone to Loco ****** team if required and to not count on email only.
With second booking we've done everything within hours within same day - so there was very fast response as we were already getting under the existing thread.

Lovely Vacation

The ground floor unit was perfect for our two year old grand daughter to access the pool and beach. All the staff were friendly and helpful, especially David who arranged van transport to and from the airport and a rental car during our stay. The only negative was the early appearance this year of the dreaded sargassum seaweed. Neighbouring properties raked it up a bit, but ours did not. Again not a big issue and we still managed to get into the beautiful and warm waters. As others have mentioned be sure to have water shoes as it is a rocky entry, but once in it is beautiful. The property location was ideal - quiet yet close enough to walk to restaurants and the stores. We would definitely recommend Akumal to our friends and family.
Relaxing by the beach

Lovely Simple condo with some minor issues

I wish it had provided more condiments and conditioner as some other vacation rentals do.
This was a lovely and simple condo. It had everything we needed. Including a lovely view, good location, and fresh/filtered water. The a/c and beach towels were very appreciated.<br/><br/>There were some issues- the beds and couches were less comfortable than hoped and the shower in one of the rooms would randomly turn on/off without warning. Lovely spot

The area of Half Moon Bay was quiet and the walk or bike to town was close. The area does have a seaweed problem in certain months so swimming in the area is not great. We went to Akumal Bay to use the beach for a charge. It’s very close to some amazing snorkeling areas and if you love the water this is the place to go.

Location is walking distance from two restaurants and a well stocked convenience store. We are booking this unit again for next year.
Great ocean front condo, best on Half Moon Bay
