We celebrated our 50th with a crew of 15 at the Tropical Beach Villa in Soliman Bay. The villa was as presented and exceeded our expectations. Location and beach front was absolutely perfect and exactly what we were looking for. Kids and grandkids alike enjoyed the property so much that we hesitated to leave for any excursions. Care takers Paco and Sara were friendly and attentive to our every need. The Akumal Direst team (Zan, Katie and Scott) exceeded expectations. We actually worked with them to arrange for a beach volleyball setup that all of us thoroughly enjoyed. Pre-trip communications were super and aloud us to properly prepare for a beautiful experience. Well maintained property; very clean; awesome amenities; perfect location. 15 minutes from Tulum where we found everything we needed for the kitchen. We're foodies and the grocery store 'La Comer Tulum' was better than anything we have here in Colorado. Great location and we would highly recommend the property and certainly would recommend working with Akumal Direct. They were super! The kids arranged for a chief to come in and prepare a special meal for our anniversary celebration (highly recommend this). We hired Scott Brown to come to the villa for a photo shoot. Wish we could do it all over again.

The view and bay are perfect. The dirt road to get there, not so much. Staff was wonderful. Kitchen needs to be updated. Corrosion and damaged countertops but the bedding was soft and comfortable, which I really appreciate. Some said they had poor water pressure in shower but our room didn’t. The pool was perfect, the house was well stocked and we had a great time

We had an amazing stay here! There was a whole team to make sure we had everything we needed. Any problems that came up, they quickly addressed and remedied. They had groundskeepers that cleaned and kept the property immaculate. There was plenty of space and bathrooms for our group of 15. Having our own beach right outside the door and a beautiful swimming pool, just can't be beat. The kids all had so much fun. The house had kayaks, boogie boards, swim shoes, snorkels, towels, swim toys and so much more. It really made it so nice. We would love to return again someday!

The home and location was beautiful. We had 10 adults and 3 children under the age of 7. The home was PERFECT for our group. The home is well stocked with gear for swimming, snorkeling, paddle boarding and more.

Our stay was AMAZING!! This place is all about the location. Solimon Bay is unbelievable, a beautiful protected bay with snorkeling that will rival any tour that you could book. The house was perfectly equipped, comfortable beds, and large bedrooms with more than enough room for 15 people. Paco and Sara cleaned the house every day (except Sunday), raked the beach, folded towels, etc. What a gift to come back to a spotless house everyday. Scott (property manager and concierge) offered suggestions for excursions and local restaurants and was always spot on. Stopped by just to introduce himself and see if we needed anything. 24 hour security made you always feel safe. The house had everything like Kayaks, paddle boards, snorkel gear, life vests, balls, games, puzzles, bottled water in all the rooms and kitchen, etc. This house is everything you would want for a great multifamily vacation. I would stay here again without a doubt!

I’ll add these: competent child lock-ins for safety, fresh bottled water in every room, honestly enough snorkel gear. Owner leaves supplies like coffee and peanut butter for late arrivals. Linens and bedding are notably high-end. Our family did some serious bonding at this Villa.

Absolutely wonderful house! We were a family of 11 adults and 4 kids aged 6 mod to 6 years. The rooms were all spacious, and en suites in every room was fantastic. The house was well stocked with a ton of snorkel gear, pool toys, towels, kayaks etc. Also well appointed with spices, coffee etc, perhaps due to previous renters leaving surplus behind. Location is awesome. Quite secure and private. The beach was great, with groomed sand and snorkelling not too far out. Lots of seating outside.. beach and patio. Even the shaded front of the house has seating. The hit of the week was the pool. The kids have their own shallow end which was awesome. It let them be involved yet independent. Their confidence grew through the week to the point where they got comfortable on the pool toys in the deep end...supervised of course. Only glitch was thinking the property was named Tropical Beach Villa, when in fact it is named Margarita Villa. Would 100 percent re-rent this property!!!!

The setting was beautiful and tropical. We home was lovely and more than we expected. All the beds were very comfy! We spent almost all our time outside around the pool or on the beach. Both were beautiful. The grass was bad while we were there but they did a valiant job of trying to keep it manageable. Rosa, Paco & Sara are the best!!! The house was cleaned everyday. Beach supplies amazing. A lot of snorkel equipment. There is plenty of booze and other staples already there. No need for Beanutbutter or jelly!!! Highly recommend!!!
