We love stepping out directly from our patio to the beach. The unit is well equipped with everything you need for a simple meal at home. The staff is available for any problems you might have in the unit or obtaining a tour or rentals for bikes or carts. We love the small intimacy of having only a few units on this property and we think it’s the nicest condo along half moon bay.

Office staff were great - and very helpful - allowing us to leave our luggage while we waited for the unit to become available and, again, when we left while waiting for an airport shuttle. Enjoyed exploring North Akumal- Yalku Lagoon folks allowed us in to see the sculptures and we loved the green juice and local coatis at the Jungle Cafe. Upon arriving home and realizing I'd left my computer at the airport, the staff of Akumal Direct were incredibly helpful in arranging to receive the laptop and get it to my daughter who had stayed on. Amazing customer service!

It's exactly as described in the photos, the office is right there to answer questions, and key pick up was super easy. We really enjoyed relaxing to the sound of the waves crashing on the shore. It's handy for all you want to do in the Akumal/Tulum area. We come to this area a lot and it truly is a hidden paradise.

We rented bicycles but could have gotten around by walking as everything was located in a mile radius. Good food at local restaurants. Housekeepers were wonderful. Airport transportation was on time and friendly.

Ground floor location was ideal, the management was efficient and welcoming, we could not have asked for more. A couple of good restaurants a very short walk away and a handy convenience store within metres. All the boxes well and truly ticked. An added bonus were visits by nesting turtles virtually at our doorstep

The staff at La Bahia Condo are always cleaning and maintaining the whole area. Thank you. Sadly, we booked when it was sargassum season (March) but we biked to the beach and the nearby YAlku Lagoon - all is perfect!!!

One surprise was the TV - which is all app based. Bring your passwords if you intend to watch Netflix etc. No satellite stations

The staff is super friendly and accommodating, the layout of the condo was very open and comfortable, the kitchen fairly well stocked, and best of all, it's fabulous to walk directly out onto the beach. The bed was a bit firmer than we typically like, but that would not deter us from staying there again. We love Akumal!
