What a unique treasure. The most beautiful location: peaceful, secure, with great snorkeling right outside the door, a soft, sandy, private beach, and private lanais. Really lovely. The service we received from everyone was wonderful. We lost our key, and the security guard found it and returned it to us. The area is impeccably maintained. The pool area was gorgeous and very welcoming, with many zero-depth areas for children. We can't wait to come back.

This was our first time staying right on Akumal Bay. The grounds of Las Casitas are very private and immaculately kept. The pool is the nicest I've seen in the area and the beach had a rock-free entry, which was great for kids. The unit was quaint but had everything we needed and was very well maintained. All the little inconveniences we've had elsewhere weren't an issue here: sliding doors and screens were in good shape, the electronic safe actually worked, Wi-Fi was great, electrical outlets were newer. the fridge/freezer worked great, etc. Staff and security were all friendly and available as needed. We really enjoyed our short stay.

We loved the little villas. They were the perfect location for swimming with the turtles, enjoying the private beach, and going to the restaurants. The staff was all very polite. We will definitely look into staying here on our next trip to Akumal.

Our family stayed for three nights at Las Casitas number 4. The condo was cute and clean. The beds were comfortable and the AC and water worked great. We were there for a short stay, so we didn’t do any cooking, but the kitchen appeared to be equipped with all you would need to make meals.

The best part was the beautiful reef in your own private beach, just steps away. The carribean is experiencing crazy amounts of sargassum and it’s not an issue on this part of the bay. It’s calm, and the reef was close enough in that our kiddos could snorkel safely. We saw huge angel fish, rays, a turtle, found a starfish and huge conch. There is a paddle board you can also use.

The staff did a great job cleaning our patio and room and the overall grounds daily. They were also very friendly and cracked coconuts for our kiddos.

These villas are located in a great spot where you can walk to reasonably priced delicious restaurants. We took a cab for 30.00 each way to Xel-Ha. It’s not far and a really fun day.

We spent 10 wonderful days at Las Casitas in October. We have stayed at this property many times over the last 20 years. As much as Akumal has changed in that time, Las Casitas remains the same comfortable, quiet and secluded getaway we have always enjoyed. We spent most of our time under the palapa on the patio, snorkeling in the bay right out front and enjoying the sparkling new swimming pool. It's just a quick stroll to the restaurants and shops - another reason we love the casitas so much. The staff is excellent. They go out of their way to make sure your stay exceeds your expectations. We are looking forward to returning next year.
