Description

Each one of our casitas is a beautiful and fully furnished home. Thee fourteen "original" units will accommodate five guests, and four "larger" units which will sleep up to six guests. All are fully air conditioned, with spacious living areas which feature an entire wall of glass which looks out onto your private courtyard with the blue Caribbean just a few short steps away.Each original casita has two large bedrooms and two baths. Our larger units have an extra half bath on the main floor and the view of Akumal Bay from the balcony of the master bedroom is breathtaking!

You'll love the private courtyard area of each unit, which is abundant with flowering shrubs, comfortable outdoor furnishings, and a palapa or palm tree for shade. An ideal, cozy space for reading or for those lazy afternoon siestas.

For your convenience, all kitchens are fully equipped (including stove, refrigerator, pots & pans, dinnerware and other cooking utensils, as well as coffee maker, microwave, toaster and even a blender to make your own Margaritas.

Each day, your maid will arrive to tidy up your home, keeping everything clean, beautiful, and well stocked with necessities such as coffee, coffee filters, creamer & sugar, salt & pepper and bottled water.

We love it here. Slice of heaven. Perfection. A nice respite from the seriously overrun with tourism the Yucatan has become. Staff is awesome. I felt like a VIP All week. Thank you.

We loved the little villas. They were the perfect location for swimming with the turtles, enjoying the private beach, and going to the restaurants. The staff was all very polite. We will definitely look into staying here on our next trip to Akumal.

Excellent. Check in was easy and smooth. Check out even easier. Security was top-notch. Housekeeping was excellent and friendly. Use of bicycles and paddle board was much appreciated.

Our family stayed for three nights at Las Casitas number 4. The condo was cute and clean. The beds were comfortable and the AC and water worked great. We were there for a short stay, so we didn’t do any cooking, but the kitchen appeared to be equipped with all you would need to make meals.

The best part was the beautiful reef in your own private beach, just steps away. The carribean is experiencing crazy amounts of sargassum and it’s not an issue on this part of the bay. It’s calm, and the reef was close enough in that our kiddos could snorkel safely. We saw huge angel fish, rays, a turtle, found a starfish and huge conch. There is a paddle board you can also use.

The staff did a great job cleaning our patio and room and the overall grounds daily. They were also very friendly and cracked coconuts for our kiddos.

These villas are located in a great spot where you can walk to reasonably priced delicious restaurants. We took a cab for 30.00 each way to Xel-Ha. It’s not far and a really fun day.

We will definitely be back! Until next time...

We spent 10 wonderful days at Las Casitas in October. We have stayed at this property many times over the last 20 years. As much as Akumal has changed in that time, Las Casitas remains the same comfortable, quiet and secluded getaway we have always enjoyed. We spent most of our time under the palapa on the patio, snorkeling in the bay right out front and enjoying the sparkling new swimming pool. It's just a quick stroll to the restaurants and shops - another reason we love the casitas so much. The staff is excellent. They go out of their way to make sure your stay exceeds your expectations. We are looking forward to returning next year.
