Description

Nikte Ha Condominiums are a great option for intermediate size groups and families. These 3 bedroom condos are located right on the beach, in the center of Akumal’s Half Moon Bay. This means you have easy access to great snorkeling in Half Moon Bay, a beach (and a pool) for the kids and you are within a easy walk to La Buena Vida, La Lunita and Yal-Ku Lagoon.

Nikte Ha Condominiums, are designed for families. A great swimming pool on the beach side means kids and parents can spend a day easily moving from snorkeling, to swimming pool, to relaxing lunch on your beachside terrace.

Three bedrooms, with sleeping accommodations for up to 10 guests, means that there is room for everyone! (That’s a good thing)
Nikte Ha Unit 3 is perfectly located on the second level. From the second level spending the day between the beach and the condo is easy and you have an awesome beach side terrace for enjoying coffee with your view in the morning. Note: Also a great spot for cold drinks later in the afternoon!

Nikte Ha is a four level beachfront condominium. You can choose a unit on any of the four levels, (#1 Beach Level, #3 Second Level, #5 Thrid Level, #7 Penthouse). The units share similar floor plans with an open plan, living / dining / kitchen area. The units enjoy all the modern conveniences such as central AC, flat screen TV and WIFI.

The master bedroom is furnished with a king bed. Guest bedroom 1 includes a queen bed and a single sofa bed. The third bedroom has a bunk bed with a double and a single bed, plus a double trundle bed. This condo comfortably sleeps 6 adults and 4 children.

Akumal is a small beach community with ecologically minded locals, and two swimming bays which are the perfect home to a diversity of tropical marine life and endangered sea turtles. Akumal is located a 20 min drive from the popular resort towns of Playa del Carmen and Tulum, and just one hour south of Cancun International airport.

*Please be advised that while Nikte Ha Condominiums do have an elevator, the service is inconsistent and in no way guaranteed. Please anticipate using the stairs. Thank you!

KINDLY NOTE: South winds may bring Sargasso Seaweed to some beaches throughout the Caribbean, including the Rivera Maya. While the situation is hard to predict for each specific week and area, we would like you to be aware as there is the potential to impact the beach and water entry.

We have a great list of activities and adventures completely unaffected by the arrival of sargasso that we would love to share with you. We had a great experience staying at Nikte Ha! Absolutely loved the location right on the beach and that it was walking distance to a couple of restaurants. The market across the street was super convenient as well. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but Akumal is an awesome town away from the busier areas like Tulum, while still close and convenient enough to see all the local attractions like the ruins and cenotes. The calm clear waters of Half Moon Way were perfect for snorkeling, just don’t forget your water shoes as it’s quite rocky. We appreciated that purified water was provided inside the condo for free. The daily housekeeping service was great and communication with the host was excellent. They even had a concierge contact us after booking who was able to book our transportation from the airport and also had lots of suggestions for excursions and rentals. Overall a great experience!

This was our third trip to Akumal and by far our favorite stay. The building is located just past Akumal Beach on Half Moon bay and offers beautiful ocean and pool views. The building is newer, well kept and the housekeeping is friendly and stops by daily to clean and provide towels or anything else you may need. AC cools the place off quickly and the condo was very spacious for our family of five with comfortable furnishings and all the essentials we needed. The host provides lots of information for you in their guest book and is very responsive to questions and needs. Just a 5 minute walk to La Buena Vida (our favorite restaurant) in one direction and the same distance to La Lunita in the other direction, which we now know is awesome as well. There is even a small store with all of the basics right across the street from the building. There is currently a huge invasion of sargassum seaweed going on in the area, making the beach a bit of a bummer right now but the hosts were quick to reach out and make sure we were aware as soon as we booked. This was a wonderful place to stay and we will absolutely return on our next trip to Akumal. Thank you!

This place was amazing! If your looking for a quiet but great place for snorkeling and fun food in the area this is it. If you are going to stay in Akumal I would recommend renting a car. This property had all the amenities listed and the check in/out process was easy. I will definitely come back!

This is a tranquil spot in a great location. The condo is sparkling clean with fully equipped kitchen with modern hi-grade amenities. We were pleasantly surprised to find that everything was just as lovely as it appears in the photos and the location was beyond our expectations. Beautiful pool and beach access make for a lovely experience. Look forward to visiting again.

Nikte Ha condominiums are by far the prettiest place to stay at Half Moon Bay. It’s a new building exactly in the middle of the bay. There is a little convenience store right in front of the building so you can purchase groceries. The pool and beach area is amazing.

Excellent and comfortable apartment. Wonderfully located, about a mile walk to the small town. Beach front with spectacular views of the sunrise and water. Fully equipped. Only complaint is that the apartment quickly runs out of hot water, so if everyone in our party of 5 wanted to take 'short 3 minute showers' at the end of the day on the beach, the last 2 people had cold showers ;-( We brought this to the attention of management a few times then gave up. Otherwise, it was a great vacation and we ate at really good restaurants nearby.

We fell in love with Akumal, and this apartment. It exceeded expectations for an American family of 4 that tends to be picky. We sat on the balcony every morning, reading and drinking coffee and watching snorkelers and listening to the waves. We lounged around the pool, jumped in the ocean, and walked the beach every day. You can come to Akumal and eat every meal at La Buena Vida. AkumalDirect was incredibly responsive to our needs. They refilled our water whenever we wanted, and kept our apartment super clean. For us, it was the perfect combination of a first-class apartment with an authentic Mexican vibe. We had considered a close-by all-inclusive, but I'd never go that route now that we've stayed with AkumalDirect.

Fantastic location for a low key vacation in Mexico. The beach and water is out the front door where you are welcomed by Half Moon Bay. Half Moon Bay is a coral reef, so it is rocky in the water, but fantastic for snorkeling. Water shoes recommended. The condo was great, however, one day there was a problem with the gas line resulting in no hot water and use of the gas stove. On our last morning the water was completely shut off for some reason, leaving us in a panic to get ready. It was resolved in about an hour though. The property manager was responsive and helpful. We would definitely recommend this condo and location to anyone.

Similar to other reviews the seaweed on the beach was a bummer. With that said it was a short walk to get to an open area. Great location close to town. Well kept and daily housecleaning was a perk. Would definitely stay again.

The condo was spotless and so modern and spacious. We loved the beach views and did appreciate the AC, too. Housekeeping was excellent! We did encounter sargassum, but it didn't hinder our fun. We snorkeled in Half Moon Bay a lot and did a different activity in the area every day: Akumal Bay, Yal Ku Lagoon, Playa del Carmen, etc. The restaurants nearby are excellent. It was truly wonderful.

We had a wonderful vacation here! The condo was very nice & very, very clean! We had a small maintenance issue, which was cared for right away. Everyone we dealt with was very kind & helpful. Our family of 5 had plenty of room, cozy beds, nice view, enjoyed riding bikes, & especially enjoyed snorkeling both at Half Moon Bay & Akumal Bay nearby. We would definitely come back!

The rental experience was very good. Few issues that were fixed right away, management was very responsive but the main problem is the seaweed in front of the condo complex. I stayed in Half moon bay 11 years ago about the same period and it was a paradise on earth. This time not so sure. You need to find a solution to this problem otherwise you will loose renters. Good luck!

Well maintained, clean, amazing views!!! I came with my husband and two girls. Everyone loved their room (which can be difficult to please everyone!) and the views. If we needed anything we had a speedy response with a solution. We will definitely be back!!
