Walking, bicycles, and golf carts are convenient for exploring Akumal. Guests wishing to discover cenotes, Tulum, Playa del Carmen, and other Riviera Maya destinations are encouraged to rent a vehicle or arrange private transportation, as public transit is limited and highway access is over a mile away via an unpaved road.
