Super cute Airbnb right on the water. Apartment was perfect and very clear and comfy. It’s a hike from the main entrance to the town, so suggest renting a bike once you arrive there (biking everywhere was easy) and the hosts were so helpful in helping me get everything I needed :) def recommend.

We loved this little place!! It was perfect for the 2 of us! We were coming and going so this was an ideal landing spot. The sunrise views were amazing! The security guard was kind and helpful when we could not get the door to lock. The gentleman at the check in was very professional. The grounds were kept clean and the parking was close. This area is adorable and we felt very safe! Unfortunately we were not able to swim or snorkel in Half Moon Bay but saw many people who did! We will definitely return!

Absolutely wonderful! Perfect for my wife and I- we will surely return. Clean condo, great staff. We like to cook for ourselves, so I would recommend on update to the knife set (very dull) and to the pots and pans. But that's trivial compared to the comfort, beautiful ocean view, direct access to great snorkling- all in a very safe, gated neighbor hood.

The only problem we had was internet never worked. Netflix couldn’t load or if it did it would have to reload numerous times during a movie.
Took hours to load to even start a movie. Don’t use smart tv and Netflix as an amenity. It’s NOT!

We loved this cute condo! It had all that we needed for our stay in Akumal. It was very nicely decorated and the bed was super comfy. The view from the deck was unbeatable!! The onsite staff was very friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to book this condo again!

Clear timely communication from the management company. The building is well maintained and the staff is great. Cleaning every day, pool and beach are maintained and cleaned daily as well. The beach in front of our building was the CLEANEST in all of Half Moon Bay. The unit is well appointed, comfortable bed, updated shower, but the rest of the unit shows signs of aging. The kitchen is tiny but well equipped. There is no laundry on premises. I was told that to do laundry you have to go into town (across a bridge over 307 highway). Absence of laundry facility was the biggest negative for me as we stayed for a week. Overall we enjoyed the stay!

We were really impressed with our stay at La Joya. We snorkeled for up to 4 hours a day and there was tons to explore. Great reefs and marine variety just steps into the ocean. We were blessed with great weather and calm waters for our January trip, but I was glad to have a shorty wetsuit as it would have gotten a bit cold in the water without it. The room was beautiful, festive with fantastic views and may have been the cleanest room we have rented for awhile. They even did the dishes we hadn't gotten to when they cleaned the room for the day. I highly recommend getting around by bike so you don't have to worry about parking if going into Akumal bay. Everything was much closer by bike than I expected. Great time and wonderful stay!

My husband and I rented a 1-bedroom at La Joya for a week, and had an absolutely wonderful time. We found the size of the condo perfect for the two of us - and the location right on the water can't be beat. The daily maid service was extensive and consistent, and we appreciated all of the condo amenities provided. We will hopefully be back again!

We loved our time at La Joya. It was a great location! Loved that we were walking distance to the restaurants at Half Moon Bay. The staff was very accommodating. The mini-super down the road was convenient and we bought groceries to cook in the well appointed kitchen.
