Enjoy your mornings listening to the waves, relaxing in the sea breeze, or dining outdoors while overlooking the bay. WiFi is included for your convenience.

The master bedroom features a king-size bed and air conditioning, while the guest bedroom offers two double beds and air conditioning, making the condo ideal for families, couples, or small groups traveling together. Please note that air conditioning is available in the bedrooms only.

Akumal Direct was so friendly and easy to deal with! They made us feel so welcome. They knew it was my husband's birthday and mid-week, they delivered a package with t-shirts and other goodies to wish him Happy Birthday. So impressed with that! 5-Star service rating! The view from our condo was stunning and offered a relaxing and quiet environment. Once again, thank you, Akumal Direct, for a wonderful and worry-free stay.

We were 4 adults staying in unit 1.
Location cannot be beat, walk out onto your deck and then walk out on to the beach and then into the water.
Accommodations had everything you needed to make your stay pleasant.
All restaurants are within walking distance.
Would highly recommend.

This was are 7 or 8 th trip to Akumal and we have enjoyed each trip. Akumal is our favorite place on the Riviera Maya and La Mirage and Hacienda de la Tortuga is our favorite place to stay. Unit 1 at La Mirage was our home for this trip and being able to walk directly onto the beach was great. Morning coffee and happy hour with toes in the sand. Very well equipped the complex is well managed and unit was cleaned daily (as was the beach. We had been down 2 years ago and were sad to see the amount of sargassum seaweed on the beach, however this trip none at all, it was great. Perfect weather as well and somewhat cooler then June or July. Access to the main Akumal Bay has been changing but Half Moon is where we enjoy snorkeling and swimming. Well equipped, relaxing and everything we needed to really relax in the sun. Baths, towels, kitchen etc. all worked well with no complaints. Keeping the screen door to the beach closed and no bugs in unit.

This ia our 6th stay in Akumal. The prior 5 times have been at Hacienda de la Tortuga (attached to La Mirage) however, this time we opted for a beach-level unit and it was a success! Super convenient to the beach and pool, yet quiet (and super comfy) for an afternoon nap! The restaurant, La Lunita, downstairs is also a convenience when you need an afternoon refresher or a calm (and comveniemt) dinner. Highly satisfied with our stay and will definitely be back next year!

This was our 2nd time booking with Akumal Direct. So easy from start to finish. The condo was clean, we had everything we needed and was super convenient being on the ground floor with the beach just steps away. I will definitely be going back and reserving with Akumal Direct. Just a side note, if you need anything, don't just notify the location manager, contact Akumal Direct as well. They will resolve any issue in a timely matter and make your stay perfect. Highly recommend!

Despite the uncontrollable seaweed issue, we had a great time at our stay in La Mirage. The location was perfect. There were other spots in the bay with bigger seaweed issues. Once you hope over the seaweed the bay is still clear & snorkable. Our house was clean & had everything we needed. The property concierge, cleaning, security was great. Resturance next door & coffee shop steps away was bonus. We would definitely love to visit again.

The location and facilities were great. The pool was cold but the ocean was warm so the ocean for the win. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have already booked again for next year. (I do wish they had an electrical plug in available for the golf cart we rented for the week. Luckily for us we had friends staying at another condo that was close by so we could charge our cart at there place.) A great time was had by all. You can’t beat the location and the view.

Excellent except for mattress in main bedroom. It was awful,lumpy and you could feel the springs. The beds in other bedroom were great,we slept in there. Our third year here and hope to texturing next year

The location is great if you are looking for a quiet relaxing spot. You will be one of a handful on Half Moon Bay. Best part if you don’t feel like cooking or walking to dinner La Lunita is right on site. The food is super yummy. They have onsite security, great parking, and daily maid service. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again.

We stayed at La Mirage #1 over Thanksgiving 2024. There were four adults and a toddler. The proximity to the water is unbeatable. Be aware that entry to the water from this spot is a little rocky, but we didn't have any problems. We snorleked every day and saw sea turtles, squid, puffers, manta rays, and tons of tropical fish. The bay is very quiet. The only issue we had was the stove wasn't working when we arrived, but it was fixed within 24 hours. We had a wonderful week.

We had an amazing time at Akumal. Loved the condo, loved the location and were able to take easy day trips to visit Coba, Tulum, swim with the turtles, visit cenotes and the near by lagoon. Cannot wait to go back.

The location can’t be beat and the restaurant on site is fantastic. The condo is clean and set up well, although we’re not fans of the concrete sofas. The beds were very comfortable. Our only complaint was the lack of hot water. Not a dealbreaker though and we’ll be back!

We are a family of 4 (2 teens) and we thoroughly enjoyed this low key, relaxing spot. The condo was clean and the daily cleaning service was good and convenient. Beach towels and bath towels provided. Good snorkeling right in front of the condo so it's worth bringing your goggles and flippers. Water shoes are recommended as the water is shallow and rocky underfoot. A rental car is a must for getting around. Restaurants are nearby if you want them. The Property manager is responsive. We definitely want to come back again!

Everything about La Mirage was perfect. We went in July when the seaweed is pretty bad. They warned us before we booked. They do an amazing job keeping their beach clear (best in all Half Moon Bay), so it was not a problem at all. The reef just in front of La Mirage is among the best around with lots of soft corals, some hard corals, and tons of fish. The condo was perfect with daily cleaning and plenty of AC to keep the place more than cool enough. The wifi can become quite slow in the evenings, but this is to be expected (likely completely out of their control). We'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

La Mirage #1 took our vacation experience to the next level! The staff was readily available to make us feel comfortable during our stay. Check-In went smoothly everything was ready when we arrived, very clean and well-equipped. The most stunning part was being on the ground floor allowing us to just step out of the door and walk on to the beach and snorkel in a coral reef surrounded by several types of fish. We even saw an octopus late one afternoon. There are loungers and palapas for shade by the water. We had read up on the location with and Akumal Direct had advised on everything there is to do in town before we arrived so we thought we knew it all. Akumal completely blew us away, it’s more charming than we could have imagined. There’s a small convenience store about 3 minutes away by foot where you can get staples and breakfast ingredients Plus, there’s La Lunita restaurant right next door and La Buena Vida less than 5 minutes away. We were also just a 3 minute golf cart ride to Akumal Bay where went diving everyday and there’s even more restaurants and shops and a small grocery store. Honestly, with so many eateries we only made breakfast once and ate out the rest of the time. We had planned to go to the pyramids but this vacation rental was so great we just spent all of our time in Akumal. We did go to a cenote one day and it was a fun day trip too. However, we just loved hanging out by the beach, driving our golf cart to the Lagoon and to the arch, and feeling like we’re part of this small little beach town.

We had a lovely stay and achieved our goal which was to get R&R. The rental was clean and as the pictures indicated, housekeeping came every day and did a great job, the view spectacular and just what we wanted. The beach for our building was clean and sandy. You will need water shoes to go in the water because it is rocky, but the water was a great temperature. The only negative was the internet service. It was unreliable. The unit across from us seemed to have upgraded service (as we could hear and see them doing video calls from their patio) the tenants said compared to their previous stays in that unit it was much better.

The rental was perfect. The view was amazing and there was beach access. Lounge chairs and shade were provided. The first night, we saw a sea turtle lying eggs on the beach. There were four of us who stayed (two couples) and the rental accommodated us. The kitchen was fully equipped, it even had random things we needed like a garlic press. The space was cleaned every day by house keeping. Management is awesome and very responsive. We also really enjoyed talking with the security guard, Victor. La Lunita is next door and was a nice place to hang out. Across the street is a cafe with great cappuccinos and delicious desserts. A small market is within walking distance. We would love to visit again!

This was our first trip to Akumal and we loved it. Le Mirage was just perfect for us. We loved being so close to the water and there were many things to do within walking distance. We'll definitely return.

Great location! Beautiful private and secluded beach with fantastic snorkeling, yet close to shopping and restaurants. Ground floor made for easy access to the beach and lounge chairs made for many hours of relaxation. Full kitchen was great for saving some money - we made quite a few complete meals at the condo and enjoyed them on the beachfront balcony. Staff was friendly and very helpful. The restaurant next door was VERY good, yet we didn't notice any extra pedestrian traffic due to their popularity. We felt VERY safe the entire week and would recommend La Mirage to anyone!
We'll definitely be back - thanks for a great trip!!

It's a long bumpy road to get there, but what a great isolated location! Three things would make it perfect: more beach loungers, a bigger TV, and fixing the bathroom doors so they open & shut quietly. We appreciated the books, games, znd DVDs. beautiful place!

We had two young children , ages 3 and 5. Having beach access and a porch for all of the sandy items was a treat. The condo is well decorated and was made well. It had a unique beauty about it. Not too stuffed with goofy decorations.
Having our lovely cleaning lady was a dream too. She was so respectful and kind and to come home to clean floors and beds was heaven. La mirage is a fabulous condo and we loved having access to the pool next door. And La Lunita. Such great food and service. Best beach too!

We have stayed in this unit before, and absolutely love this condo! The way the whole unit opens up to the ocean view is wonderful! We also have a family member in a wheelchair, and it is reasonably accommodating, which makes a relaxing beach vacation a possibility for our family. The COVID-19 precautions were present and effective without being isolating, and we were so grateful to be in a different space with our family. We will always rent this condo when we come to Akumal!

We did not want to leave.
Perfect out of the way location.
Great restaurant right on the property, steps from the condo.
You are the closest to the ocean without sleeping in it.
Excellent cleaning service including the beach. Everyone in Mexico wears a mask. Great nearby restaurants-2 walking distance, several others 5 minutes.

This house was well stocked and equipped with everything we needed. It was fantastic to have the on-site restaurant; the food was really amazing. The host is very accommodating and the daily cleaning was something extra that we didn't expect but appreciated a lot. My husband and I and kids will be back.
