Description

At a Glance

La Sirena 16 is a tranquil poolside garden retreat offering two stories of comfortable living, easy beach access, and a spacious second-floor terrace. With three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and daily housekeeping, this villa is ideal for families and friends seeking a relaxed Akumal escape.

Inside the Residence

This standalone tropical townhome sits beside La Sirena’s pool in a quiet courtyard setting. The main living area features an open-concept layout combining the kitchen, dining, and lounge spaces under one shared air-conditioning unit. Large windows connect the interior to the garden and allow natural light to flow throughout the ground floor. The kitchen is fully equipped with coordinated dinnerware, quality cookware, full-size appliances, and all the tools guests need for meal preparation.

Two bedrooms are located on the ground level. One offers a king bed and the other a double and twin bed, each with its own independent air-conditioning unit. They share a spacious full bathroom and benefit from easy access to the screened patio that opens directly toward the pool.

Upstairs, the master suite provides an elevated sense of privacy with a king bed, its own A/C system, an ensuite bathroom, and a comfortable sitting area. A sliding door leads to a generous second-floor lanai designed for outdoor dining, lounging, and enjoying views of the gardens. The villa includes high-speed fiber WiFi, Smart TV, bottled water, linens, beach and bath towels, hair dryers, safety features, and daily housekeeping (Monday–Saturday), ensuring a seamless and relaxing stay.

Access & Amenities

Guests have full access to the villa, the screened ground-floor patio, the second-floor terrace, the shared pool, and La Sirena’s man-made beach on the rocky shoreline of Half Moon Bay. Water shoes are useful for ocean entry. Additional conveniences include daily maid service, on-site management, fiber WiFi, and beach access just steps across the garden.

About the Surroundings

La Sirena sits at the northernmost curve of Half Moon Bay, where the setting is calm and scenic, especially in winter months. Yal Ku Lagoon is an easy walk away, and local restaurants and beachfront paths are close by. Public transportation is limited and the road to the highway is unpaved, so a rental car or private driver is highly recommended for exploring cenotes, grocery stores, and nearby towns.

Summary

Garden villa near Half Moon Bay with pool access, king bedrooms, large terrace, full A/C, and daily housekeeping. Perfect for relaxed stays with family or friends.

We spent a wonderful week at La Sirena Unit 16 with our granddaughter to celebrate her graduation, and our experience with Akumal Direct / Loco ****** was exceptional from start to finish. We were originally booked at Hacienda de la Tortuga, but before our trip the team proactively reached out to let us know that the sargasso conditions there were severe. They didn’t just inform us—they offered two alternative properties and helped us seamlessly transition our reservation. Their commitment to ensuring we had the best possible stay was clear, thoughtful, and deeply appreciated.

They even coordinated the delivery of our golf cart to the new property, making the switch effortless on our end.

La Sirena itself was perfect. The grounds and gardens are lush and beautifully maintained, and our villa was comfortable, charming, and well‐appointed with everything we needed. The A/C kept the space cool, the hot water was reliable, and the décor had that authentic, welcoming Mexican touch. The beach area was lovely, and we enjoyed fantastic snorkeling right from shore—with absolutely no sargasso. We also spent plenty of time relaxing by the gorgeous pool, and one afternoon the gardener surprised us with a fresh coconut, which made the moment even more special.

The Akumal Direct team truly demonstrated excellence in customer service. Their proactive communication, thoughtful guidance, and genuine care for our experience made all the difference. We highly recommend them as a trusted source for your vacation planning, and we look forward to booking with them again.
