Description

Playa Blanca #10 is a bright and spacious ocean view studio, located on Akumal's Half Moon Bay. It is just steps from the beach and a few minutes away from the beautiful Yalku Lagoon.

Ideal for singles, couples or a small family of 4, this well-appointed 450 sq. ft. upper floor studio space has airy vaulted ceilings and gets plenty of natural light. It has a small table and chairs, a king size bed, single day bed and trundle bed, a cozy living area, and a kitchenette with a refrigerator, a microwave, and a portable stove top. The space is designed in a Mexican style with tile floors and colorful Talavera tiles in the kitchenette and bathroom. On the sandy beach a few steps away, there are sun loungers and shady thatched palapas for your and your guest’s enjoyment.

Cleaning is included at check-in and checkout. For weekly stays, there is also a mid-week cleaning. For monthly rentals cleaning will be once a week.

The town of Akumal is located about halfway between Playa del Carmen and Tulum and just over an hour's drive from Cancun International Airport. When staying at Playa Blanca #10 you can enjoy all that Riviera Maya has to offer, you'll be just a short drive to either Tulum, Playa del Carmen, or one of the many cenotes and Maya Ruins in the area.

Thanks again for the great stay, Scott! This place was perfect. The only thing I think would be a great addition would be some snorkeling gear for guests to use! We didn’t end up snorkeling, but we would have considered it if there was already some gear there. We decided to visit the Kantun-chi eco park instead. But we had a wonderful time!

This is a wonderful location on half moon bay. Steps to the beach. Kitchen has everything you would need. Water in the room is so convenient. The condo and property are beautiful.

This was a beautiful place to stay! Perfect space for 3 of us. Communication was quick and helpful. Drinking water was provided. We enjoyed watching sun rises on the beach and sunsets on the roof. This trip would have only made better if the sea grass wasn’t blocking access to the beach.

I had anticipated that the property would be closer to the beach than it was; however, it was still a great location in Akumal. A bit small for 2 adults and 2 teens but very comfortable.

My wife and I were visiting Playa Blanca to celebrate a friends birthday. Our friends were staying in a complex next door, so this property was a perfect location for us. Besides being close to our group of friends, the condo met all of our needs for a relaxing place retreat too. At night, the area was quiet and the bed provided a comfortable night of sleep. During the day, there was a small grocery store nearby and two restaurants within a short walk. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Playa Blanca Condo.

I loved the studio condo on the water. I only had to walk several steps to get to the beach and palapa area. The unit, as well as the beach were well maintained. I snorkeled daily, right from the condo. Half Moon Bay is faily shallow, so I could go out quite far. Although, I did not see any turtles in this area, I did see stingrays, beautiful fish and coral. The location is pefect. I could walk to all places in Akumal, including Akumal Pueblo. The restaurants were fabulous and not pricy. Finally, I felt competely safe at all times. I definitely would come back.

This is our second stay at this beautiful studio suite. We will return again and again as the unit is super quiet, has a lovely view of the ocean, has a fabulous housekeeper, the bed is super comfortable, and Akumal Direct is very accommodating to ensure we are taken care of.
We rent bicycles to ride down the road to town for dinner, and also a great happy hour down the street. The snorkeling off the beach is incredible. The area is so quiet with condos so there is no loud music to disturb your sleep. This is not a nightlife location, snorkeling during the day, and a dinner out is what a vacation here entails :)

Beautiful studio apartment steps from the beach. Very clean, with everything we needed for our stay. The host was in contact with us the whole time and very helpful. Can't wait to go back!

Very good. It lived up to our expectations and staff was super helpful. Perfect for a family with a small child and a baby. Cleaning was good - we had it every other day and if we would have had it every day it would have been even better. But in all our warmest recommendations.

This studio was everything we needed! It was clean, comfortable, very easy access to the beach. The grounds keepers kept the property looking beautiful. We rented bicycles, very easy ride to restaurants, our favorite was Turtle Bakery Cafe. We snorkeled and swam right outside the property area. Property Management was amazing in answering any questions. Akumal is the perfect destination for a quiet, non crowded, relaxing, safe vacation. We stayed for 3 weeks, met some amazing people and will definitely return.

Totally awesome. We rented two properties with different management and were so pleased that both managers checked in with us many times. They solved problems (malfunctioning air conditioner, keys locked in the condo late at night) and gave great recommendations for activities and private tours. Thank you Adrian and Scott! I just looked to see if when these properties are available next year.

We enjoyed our stay in this rental unit. The unit is clean and cute and budget friendly. The unit was well supplied and management was very quick to respond to any requests. They were extremely helpful with navigating the area, excursions and even a medical issue. For us, the only limitation was lack of outdoor space as there is no terrace, but this is reflected in the price which is very good for the area and the beach is supplied with tables and loungers which are only steps away from the unit.

Loved this rental property. Fantastic beach and palm tree view from the window, bright and sunny with windows on three sides, excellent cross breeze, and everything needed in the kitchen to cook meals. The king bed was super comfy. It is a safe, quiet, and clean accommodation close to restaurants. 15-minute walk to town.
