Description

Seven Seas is a small very lovely condominium property located along the soft white sand beach of South Akumal, just 2 miles south of Akumal proper. This quiet gated community is situated along a lovely stretch of beach with easy access to great snorkeling and is home to only private villas and Seven Seas Condominiums.

Seven Seas #1 is located on the main floor within just a few steps of the large ocean side swimming pool and the white sand beach. There is a very large, very private, covered patio, which provides a great space for entertaining or relaxation. The poolside patio is furnished with table and cushioned chairs and is a great spot for relaxing and gazing out at the Caribbean Sea.
The master bedroom is furnished with king bed, Air conditioned bedrooms only.

The guest bedroom is furnished with two single beds. Both bedrooms are air conditioned and enjoy private en-suite baths.

There is also a queen size inflatable air bed available for US$25/night to accomodate a 5th guest.

Seven Seas #1 is slightly smaller than the other units at Seven Seas. Additionally, it sits at the far north end of the complex. For these reasons, it is priced lower than other units in the complex. However, our guests have enjoyed the privacy of the patio and always feel that they enjoy all of the amenities and comforts of a high end property for a mid range rate.\

Seven Seas 1 also now has SKY Mexico TV, and WIFI internet.

"The #1 Unit at Seven Seas had been updated with new furniture and we were very pleasantly surprised and as far as the size we were more than comfortable and the dressing areas in each bathroom was a plus! The patio was huge and my husband loved sitting there reading and watching us folic in pool or beach.

Thank you for setting us up with it. Oh, Miguel (manager) was very helpful and friendly. Our rental car battery died and he called and made the guys from Cancun bring us a new battery and put it in at 10 pm! Tell him we said Thanks!".

Miguel, the on site manager, was extraordinarily helpful in many ways. The condo was clean and comfortable. Daily maid service and bottled water provided. Pool was very nice and well tended. Lovely beach chairs. Ceiling fans in all rooms and ac in bedrooms. Quite relaxing.

This is the perfect jumping off point for exploring so much that is fantastic about the Mayan Riviera. There are so many things to do within a 15 minute drive of the place and even more within half an hour -- cenotes, lagoons, museums, towns, amusement parks, Mayan ruins, good food, etc., etc. My one minor quibble with the location is that you have to get in the car (or take quite the beach hike) to get to any sort of store. The place itself is lovely, quiet, and spacious. The owners warned us that the beach would be full of Sargasso, and so it was, but I wasn't aware that it would be so full of sea turtle nests! If you make the effort during the right season, it is possible to watch turtles lay their eggs or for the little turtlings to hatch. The staff is very kind and informative. All in all a great experience.

My husband and I loved staying here. The unit is beautiful and spacious, room for a family or two couples if you wanted to share. The grounds are lovely, the beach front is quiet and you have snorkelling right at your doorstep in the protected bay. You can walk to a few restaurants near by if you want to eat out, or buy some groceries on the way and cook in the full kitchen. Great for entertaining. The lagoon is walking distance away as well. You need to pay to enter, but it would be a great day activity with a young family. Mayan temples near by and the town of Akumal.

Miguel, the property manager, always readily available and provided great suggestions for local restaurants and cenotes. Miguel also helped get us set up to go deep sea fishing. The location is about a 25 minute drive from Tulum but is close to a lot of cenotes and ruins.

We loved this place for our family! Miguel the property manager was incredibly lovely. The gardener Francisco was also so wonderful. Seven seas was a dream. Only down side is the furniture in the living room is extremely uncomfortable and we had an issue with one of the bathrooms and plumbing not working for 5 days. Other wise it was pretty close to perfect for us.

The house is confortable, the view to the sea is wonderful, the condo's pool is lovely. We loved having meals in the terrace looking at the sea and sleeping with the sound of the waves. Miguel was very helpful with everything we needed. But you must know it is a pebble beach (maybe the kayaks will help you find to a better spot to swim - we didn't use them and didn't swim) and that the house is a bit old (though everything works well). It's a good place to rest your mind! I

We had a great time! Calm location. Sea breeze. The sound of the waves. The beach is clean and calm. Perfect location for snorkling and kayaking. The sea is rocky but enough opportunities to swim if you do a little walk. Good lunch and pool at Jungle fish, 400m to the left on the beach. Lot of birds. Nice pool. Jungle feeling and lots of exotic animals. Maya culture around the corner. Tulum feels like a Thailand hipster place. People at the residence are friendly! Hope to come back soon!

Nice Restaurants nearby, highly recommend Taverna Akumal. The pool is great, beautiful views, quiet and relaxing, fully equipped kitchen. Kayaks included. Una maravilla y un remanso de paz entre palmeras ! Siendo nuestra primera vez en la zona, estábamos un poco preocupados por el barullo de gente siendo Semana Santa. Este lugar es perfecto: preciosa playa, muy lindo apartamento, estupenda terracita para desayunar o tomar café escuchando el mar....Espacios para disfrutar plenamente y desconectar. Apenas encontramos a nadie , ni en la piscina ni en la playa. Disfrutamos muchísimo la estancia en 7 seas y queremos destacar la atención de Miguel, siempre atento y listo para ayudarnos y ofrecernos recomendaciones. Volveríamos sin duda :)

We loved our stay at Seven Seas. The pool was perfect for the kids, and while Unit #1 is small, we had a lovely large patio where we could spread out a bit. For us, the smaller unit was not an issue than some of the others at the complex. The location is beautiful, and the staff are wonderful. Thank you so much to Miguel, Francisco, and all the others. They are so helpful, gave us great tips, and Miguel even was available late when we arrived and saw us off for our very early morning departure.

We stayed at Seven Seas Condo #1 off season, and only saw another couple once! That said, we had the pool and beach to ourselves! Beautiful location. Turtles nest right on our beach! We snorkeled right off our beach, and saw many colorful fish. Akumal Bay is just north (a short drive) away, where we snorkeled with the turtles! Condo had 2 full bathrooms, which was a plus with 2 (almost) adult daughters! Kitchen was nice. Windows in every room we could see the beach from our condo. We were probably the farthest from the beach, but it was also more private, as I could imagine in busy season, people walking in front of the condos alot. But not with unit no.1. Big patio area with huge table was great for meals. The one suggestion we would make is for the owners to get more comfortable seating in the sitting room. There are really only 2 chairs that are moderately comfortable, and a straight back bench, which was not. Hard to find places to sit for 4 people..someone ended up sitting at the kitchen table or in the bedrooms for just a comfortable place to sit. Had an ant problem too, but not sure if that is avoidable at the beach! Miguel, the caretaker, was a sweetheart! He made sure we had all we needed, gave us great information about the area, where to eat, and shop, and made us empanadas and a lovely bread when we arrived! This was a great location, very quiet and a safe area.

We recently had a 6 night stay at Seven Seas. It was a moderate styled room for the 4 of us, which was just fine, because we don't need anything elaborate. It was cleaned every day (Sundays off) by the friendly maid on staff. Our Maintenance guy was so helpful and was usually on site every day from 7 or 8 till 6-ish. We were able to snorkel right out from our condo in the reef, and this year it was a rare historic shoreline in that the sargassum grass floated in every day, so unfortunately the pristine aqua ocean waters were a bit less this year. We rented bikes for the week, and biked all over Akumal area, and had a ball. Highly recommend renting bikes for the week. Restaurants had great Food, and very friendly- fun staff. Overall a great time, and would go back again. Great time.

I wanted to stay at this property in past trips to Akumal but it never worked out - it certainly did not disappoint! Beach front serviced condo! It worked great for a family of 2 adults, 1 teen (14) and one kid (6). Watch outs are that the couch is small if you are the type of family who likes to sit down to watch movies at night (we are not) and that there is no AC in the living room. Due to the position of the unit it does not get as much breeze as the others and the living room got quite warm for my taste (but I run warm, lol). Will definitely consider coming back to this property or renting from Akumal Direct again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Seven Seas apartment in Akumal. We felt at home straight away. The apartment is spacious and equipped with all amenities you might need. We spend a lot of time just enjoying the terrace overlooking the swimming pool. Our two little girls loved the beautiful swimming pool and nice beach area. Everyday we woke up early to see the sunrise and watch the pelicans above the sea. A magical start of our holiday. The gardens surrounding the property are very well kept and are just beautiful. Above all the property Manager Miguel is extremely friendly and helpful. He really goes beyond to make you feel at home and give you tips to enjoy all Akumal has to offer.. To be honest we could not have thought of a better stay to start our holidays. Everything was just perfect, a hidden gem!

Our stay was excellent. The condo is very quiet, the beach is practically private, and you occasionally see people walking on it. The condo is very secure and located on a gated street. The peace of mind is what I appreciate the most. It has a very clean pool, and its grounds are beautiful. We used the kayaks and the beach chairs. The apartment has everything you need and is stocked with bath towels, pool towels, bed linen, bottled water and all kitchen utensils. The microwave oven broke down and was replaced immediately. The cleaning service is excellent, as is the gardening and pool cleaning. The manager is a very responsible, friendly, and supportive person in everything. He kindly waited for our late arrival because the flight was delayed by bad weather, and he was up until midnight. I would like to congratulate the employees, Mrs. Daisy from the housekeeping, Mr. Fredy from Gardening and especially Mr. Miguel Escalante, the excellent manager of the condominium. This is the second time I come here.

This is an excellent little place. Management is very helpful and the cleaner Daisy and gardener are always smiling! We will definitely come back to this lovely piece of paradise!

It was a beautiful week at number 1 seven seas. We did have trouble with internet coverage and the kitchen lacked a sharp knife to use for cutting purposes. But Miguel was great, Daisy was phenomenal and the view spectacular! Could not have had a better week even with the disruption of electricity for a morning.

We rented two condos (#1 and #6) for my extended family. We had an amazing stay here and both the condos and everything else exceeded our expectations. Really very very nice, excellent on-site manager (Miguel), amazing location, sparkling clean and very well-appointed condos.

Miguel, the on-site manager was exceptionally helpful in many ways. The condo was comfortably appointed (beds, chairs, sufficient lighting, equipped kitchen) with fans in every room. Filtered water was provided every day as well as maid service. The pool was very nice as was the surrounding grounds and beach area.

We stayed after looking at several different VRBO options. Loved that it was right on the ocean, snorkeling available right out your front door. The pool was excellent and the condo was spacious. Felt safe the entire time. Parking for rental car is also available.
Miguel, on site manager, was fabulous. He was so helpful in planning the day’s activities and had many good suggestions.

The location cannot be beat...period. The location - 20 feet from the beach, & quality of the condo leaves little else to be desired. At $100.00 less per night compared to other units in the group...we felt it was steal. No cable TV...but...were content to defer that side of life for a week! Miguel is THE BEST/NICEST manager on this coast...speaking from an 8 time villa/condo renter.

What a beautiful, clean, quiet and relaxing vacation! It was like having a private condo with our own pool right on the beach. Miguel and Gloria were the best hosts; so kind, helpful and sweet. Always ready to lend a helping hand or answer any questions. The rooms had everything we needed and were laid out nicely. The daily maid service was wonderful. We were there when the sargassum was bad, but it was all over the entire Riviera. It didn't stop us from pushing through it to enjoy the snorkeling with abundant fish and coral species. We loved taking the kayaks out and looking at all the turtle nesting sites. We rented a car and Akumal South was the perfect middle point for us to go exploring up and down the coast and into the interior. We would not hesitate to visit again.
