About the Home

Villa Loro is designed around comfortable spaces for spending time together. The living and dining areas connect naturally with the home's tropical surroundings, while the kitchen gives your group everything needed for meals at home.

The bedrooms are divided between two levels. Two are on the ground floor, including a flexible bedroom/media room with two Single beds. Upstairs, the primary suite and an additional guest bedroom provide more private sleeping spaces.

Comfortable Group Stay in Akumal

We had a great stay in Akumal.

PROS: The Akumal Direct Concierge people were so responsive and really take care of you. Scott was unfailingly available to us to answer questions, give recommendations and sort any issues.

The house was very private and lovely. The maid and gardener/pool care were great.

Each bedroom had its own bathroom which made a big difference. The central living area had the perfect couch where we could all sit and hangout and a big table for meals.

A highlight was the ability to take a short walk to the Yal Ku lagoon preserve and go snorkeling whenever we wanted. The water was perfect and fish were abundant.

CONS: The dishwasher was out of order the entire stay and the sound system did not work, so those should be removed from the home description until remedied. We loved the large hot tub, but it shut off randomly and that was a bit of an ongoing issue, but addressed each time. The dryer was broken when we arrived, but fixed during the stay.

The house was gorgeous and located in a very quiet neighborhood. We loved being able to swim in Yalku Lagoon, especially in the mornings and evenings when no one was around. The staff was great, as well! We will definately be back.

Overall satisfaction
We went to this home after a week at a resort to simply slow down. It was quiet, safe, and relaxing! Our family of 5 was able to simply enjoy a comfortable and unique accommodation for 4 days. The housekeepers were great as the made us breakfast and washed our clothes the first morning we were there at a realistic rate. The property manager was always attentive and helpful. Not to mention Yalku Lagoon was easy access and availabile to enjoy anytime we wanted to go.

Our family would stay here again!
