What a beautiful space!! I can’t say enough good things. Scott was extremely responsive anytime I needed anything. He gave me a recommendation for a masseuse to come to the house! Fabulous! David was great to help with transportation, I was never worried about how I was going to get to/from the airport or to any excursions. Alma and Sergio were amazing! Alma made the best home cooked meals, and had the space looking pristine! Scott was right about water shoes, a must to get around on the rocks outside the Villa! The sea life is so pretty and I’m so happy I ventured out there to see it! I’ll be dreaming about the pool for the rest of my life!

We rented Villa Sirena and had a fantastic vacation. The home is just as described and shown in the pictures. The pool and views are absolutely fabulous. Alma and Sergio came every day to take care of us and the house. We asked Alma to cook a few meals for us and they were delicious. All the folks I dealt with at Akumal Direct while planning the vacation were very responsive, friendly and helpful. They helped me purchase groceries to be in the villa upon our arrival, book transportation to/from the airport, rent golf carts and book several excursions. David recommended a cenote excursion going through a cave which was an awesome experience ( I highly recommend this excursion ). Scott checked in with us several times which made us feel like we had a friend right there if we needed one. Thank you Akumal Direct - This was truly the best vacation ever!

Really enjoyed our stay, Akumal was very responsive to our multi- guest varied arrival and departure times. All personnel and their services were excellent. Restaurants were wonderful and getting around only by golf cart was easy. The weather was fantastic. The neighborhood was also very pleasant.

This property is a perfect place for multiple couples or extended family. It’s spacious and there are plenty of places to relax. The views from all rooms are spectacular. The AC in the bedrooms work great. It’s a long walk to the town so I do recommend some form of transport particularly for youngsters or seniors. But I highly recommend this property. The house was spacious and comfortable for our 6 adults and 3 kids. The toys and pool toys were greatly appreciated by the kids. The pool was fabulous on the point and views were spectacular. The dinner by Alma was great. She and the outdoor worker did great jobs keeping the place clean and tidy. We also appreciated some of the left over spices and food to supplement what we had. The kitchen supplies and towels were plentiful. A few recommendations is to tell people to bring soap and shampoo if you don’t supply it. Luckily I had enough for the family. The coffee pot should be replaced. It only drops coffee into the pot if you lift the pot with a fork. The basket valve doesn’t work unless you shim the pot up.

A very lovely and beautiful stay. The house is huge and can be big enough for a large family. The views were out of this world. There is Restaurants nearby as well as attractions. Alma was our cleaner/cook she was fabulous and so sweet. The hosts are very accommodating and will respond quickly. I would recommend letting the host know if you want to rent a golf cart. The pool was so beautiful and the house was private.

The house was perfect and did not disappoint. Views were fabulous especially from the third floor patio. Snorkeling gear and swim shoes are well worth bringing as well as floats for the pool. One site property management was very tentative and available. Icidro and Rocio took great care of us and the house. They prepared 4 gourmet meals for us that I would highly recommended, even did the dishes. The entrance to the neighborhood was monitored by guards so security was not a concern. Taxi drivers were minutes away as well. There are a few hotel restaurants nearby that make great margaritas.

We will definitely return! The pictures didn’t do the location justice. From the time we walked up until the time we left we felt at home. The best part is the pool being steps away from the door. We loved the following about the stay. 1) warm pool 2) store being steps across and had everything needed 3) proximity to La Bueno Vida (the best!!) 4) comfy sofa 5) location was so cozy and away from the hustle. Things that could be improved on were only 2 and really nothing the home owner had control over. Bring bug spray bc the mosquitoes are the worst! They are like birds and at night and just terrible! Also, sea weed was bad. Overall 5 & we will be back!

We stayed in Villa Sirena in early August 26. It was absolutely fantastic. At the time half moon bay was experiencing a terrible sargassum influx. This did not affect our stay at the villa and there was no smell as the shoreline is rocky. Some days the snorkelling was effected but we still got some fantastic snorkelling days. We booked through Akumal direct who were absolutely excellent to deal with. Great communication at all times and any issues were immediately rectified.

Alma and Sergio who look after the property were amazing and made our stay stress free. Whilst Mexico is having a crisis on its beaches with seaweed there is so much more to do than the beach. We visited several cenotes, ancient ruins, swam with turtles in Akumal bay, floated down the Mayan canals at Muyil. Visited punta laguna to see the wild monkeys.

Highly recommend for a relaxing holiday. This villa would really suit a large family group. We were only there as a family of 5 but I think it could really comfortably accommodate 10 if families shared rooms. Each room had really good air conditioning and its own bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped and we loved the ninja blender for making frozen margaritas! We didn’t eat out the whole time we were away as the kitchen is so well equipped and we are keen cooks. (Also with that location no restaurant could come close to our meals outside overlooking our pool and the crashing waves) But there are a few local eateries too.

The rocky area in front of the villa is also home to some great wildlife and the birds that hung out at the pool were fab to watch. We saw such a variety of tropical birds while we were there.

We had an amazing time at Villa Sirena. It's a nice break from the All-Inclusive resorts if you want exclusivity. Villa Sirena provides exclusivity. Alma makes an amazing breakfast and dinner. She kept the place spotless for our stay. I would for sure return and stay here again. My only comment is the bedrooms are the only rooms with AC. It will get real cold. The rest of the house common area has no AC. You must keep the windows open to manage the heat. The management company is great to deal with and communication was excellent.

We’ve been to Akumal many times but normally stay in a casita of one of the hotels. This time we rented Villa Sirena aka Casa Nah Hah thru Akumal Direct and it was awesome! Just the access to the concierge alone makes it worth it! Plus the house is so beautiful, had the best view, snorkeling right in our backyard with sting rays, squid, turtles and so many fish! Highly recommend booking thru Akumal Direct, and if you’re looking for a house this one is a great choice. And the house manager Scott is so responsive & helpful.

This is our 7th visit to Akumal and each stay has been better than the last. Love, love the property's location, and the communication with the management company was amazing! The home's design is excellent and the pool with its views are unparalleled! We even had the staff prepare us a meal while we were there that was every bit as impressive and what you would get ant a local restaurant. Our family of 5 couldn't have been happier. Can't say enough.

This is a great place to stay. The pool and view are amazing and one of the best things about this location. Alma is great and cooked for us. Scott was my contact and was amazing! He responded to all my texts and calls extremely fast and arranged excursions and taxis. He even had an issue with the AC in one of the bedrooms and had people come to fix the repair right away.
Things to know:
Rent a golf cart, will save on mutiple taxi's
Main house has no AC, does get kind of hot during the day but always has a nice breeze from the ocean
Have groceries delivered or stop in Playa Del Carmen as they have lots more options.

We had such a great time!! This house is located in a secure community with so many cute little cafes and restaurants. I highly recommend renting a golf cart. It was super helpful to get around. The house itself was great for my group. It is an oceanfront home, not a beachfront, so there is a rocky path to get to the ocean, but given it is seaweed season and we're not many beach fans, this was perfectly fine with us. Having the pool look out into the ocean was GREAT! The home itself has so much character, and we loved it! Loved Alma, the chef!!! We got an arrival dinner and next day breakfast with her, I highly recommend it! The only thing I wished the house had is an AC in the living room area, but given how close we are to the ocean, the breeze helped keep the house cool. I will definitely book with this company again! BIG Thank you to their concierge team and Scott, the property manager, for their kindness and advice and for answering all my questions with so much patience! Highly appreciate it!

The property was as advertised, furnishings were nice everything was clean and nice. Beautiful views of the Ocean in a quaint little Mexican Village. The location of Nah Hah house was probably the best in Akumul, it sits out on a point which affords views of the ocean and back into town with great snorkeling directly off the back of the house. The only issue we had with the property was the common area of the house including the kitchen was not air conditioned. During the afternoon that part of the house was terribly hot. We were there from May 30-June 5 outside temp of 90-95f. Breeze was nice passing through the open windows and doors but still HOT. Bedrooms were very nice and Comfortable with mini-split Ac units in each. The Housekeeper and Gardener Alma and Sergio were such nice people, both went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and nice. Overall, we had a great experience and a great vacation in akumul.

Our 2nd time here & 5th time to Akumal.
I almost don’t want to give a review because I want to keep it all to myself.
It’s that kind of amazing.
I love Villa Sirena @ Nah Hah. It’s perfect for my family.
Everything you need for a week away. Nothing is missing here.
You can be active or do nothing.

Alma, Sergio and Scott took care of us all along the way.
Cesar who rents the golf carts is a gem.
Samuel at Pirata Tours Caribe is a so fun.

Akumal is quickly becoming my home away from home thanks to Loco ****** & Akumal Direct.

Perfect location. Good value. Lovely housekeeper who makes a killer pica de gallo! Generous room sizes. Everything about the villa was as described and exceeded our expectations.

Our Property Manager checked in throughout our stay and suggested an incredible private chef experience for a special meal.

Not sure whose job it is but the Iguana waste could use daily attention. There was a pile on the pool deck when we arrived and stayed for the duration of our trip and there was more each day. I’m not sure what the duties were but all we saw was skimming the pool and some walking around of the property. Room for improvement on the exterior/maintenance/pool services.

We rented this house with a family friend for a week. We had an incredible time in this home. The location of this house was amazing. We would book here again. There is only AC in the bedrooms and not the main living area. That wasn't an issue for us because the breeze was enough and we spent most of our time in the water. The property management was VERY helpful with all of our questions about the house and location. We loved our experience here.

The location is great and the view from the pool is amazing! The house is big and comfortable, and Alma and Sergio kept it immaculate. The water pressure in the upstairs bathroom is poor and could be improved. The management team, including Scott and David, was very professional and helpful. Thank you for making our holidays memorable!

A wonderful villa. Huge, with plenty of indoor and outdoor space, and bedrooms. Awesome pool and so nice to have while on vacation. We loved the location in Akumal. Helpful to rent golf carts to drive to nearby restaurants (but also walkable if you prefer). House cleaner (and cook if you want) was great, as was the yard/pool maintenance person. Akumal rental agency and their concierge very helpful with planning your stay and nearby excursions if you want. Roughly 1.5 hours from the airport, but well worth it if you are looking for a smaller place to stay. We would rent again.

The view is incredible. The pool is out on the point with no obstructions, giving you views in every direction. You can see the ocean from every location in the house. The windows open up nicely to allow the ocean breeze to flow through. The upstairs balcony was wonderful at night.
The staff is very friendly and keep the house very tidy. Alma cooked dinner for us one evening. We had been out for a sunset sail and came home to a deliciously prepared dinner.
One thing to note about the house layout. The king bedroom downstairs has an exterior entrance. There is a foot path from the back patio to the bedroom. There is no interior connecting door. It is perfect for a couple who would like privacy from the group.
We did not rent a car this trip, but found a golf cart was helpful for getting around Akumal. There are three restaurants within an easy walk. We enjoy La Bueno Vida in the evening. And loved jungle Juice for a morning smoothie, very healthy ingredients.
Snorkeling right from the house is amazing. It was our daily activity. The first two days of our week were perfect, calm seas and super clear visibility. The coral is stunning. Lots of varieties of sea life. The ocean became very rough midweek and it was not safe for those who are not strong swimmers. Also the clarity was clouded up. We walked over to Yal-Ku and paid the $20 entrance fee to get out and swim in the calm waters.
We had a wonderful stay, and will return.
