The tour will start with a visit to the vibrant market within the charming colonial city of Valladolid. You will stroll through the stalls brimming with a kaleidoscope of colors and the enticing aromas of fresh vegetables and local fruits. This will offer you the chance to engage with the locals and catch a glimpse of their everyday routines. Subsequently, you will set off on a panoramic journey through the historic heart of this captivating colonial city. Following this, this expedition will carry you forward to the extraordinary archaeological site  of Ek Balam. Ek Balam is a Yucatec Maya name that translates to “bright star jaguar.” Ek Balam’s most important cultural period was during the Late Classic Period 700 – 1000 A.D It is the architecture and design of , “The Tower”, and the decoration of Ek Balam’s Builders and artists that used stucco and limestone mortar that makes it so special, spectacular and unique a pliable material that could be modeled into distinct forms and painted over. To end this tour you will  refresh in crystal clear fresh water cenote and and enjoy a delicious buffet of typical regional food.
