Located just a quick drive south of Akumal, in Tao Beach Club on Jade Bay you can find the newest addition to Akumal’s gastronomic scene.
Food, service and ambience are excellent, well worth a visit!
Jungle Fish Beach club is a family operated restaurant open every day between 10am and 6pm.
Breakfast is served until noon with some continental and local options. In the afternoon they start to serve delicious lunch menus offering seafood, pasta, sandwiches, healthy salads and local specialities so everyone can find something to spoil their taste buds.
We enjoyed everything we ordered, especially their freshly prepared local cuisine.
Prices are very reasonable and it’s certainly worth checking out their Facebook page for special events like Happy Hour and Karaoke nights.
Jungle Fish is not just about the food but the entire ambience. Next to the restaurant you can enjoy a dip into their beautiful beachfront swimming pool. Simply enjoy and relax with your favourite book and a fresh mojito, on a beach chair.
And don’t forget to bring your snorkel gear! Just steps away you can enter the ocean and explore the colorful coral reef :)
