How to get to Xpu Ha from Akumal
Exit Akumal and head 12 km north towards Puerto Aventuras for about 10 minutes. As you get close to Xpu Ha Bay you'll see several entrances to other establishments also on Xpu Ha beach. Xpu Ha Beach Club is the last entrance right next to Catalonia Resort. You'll see the brown wall painted with black lettering just before the entrance to Catalonia which is painted red. You'll be tempted to turn early towards the glamping and more colorful signs but trust us, driving a bit more even if you have to take a "retorno" is worth waiting.
How Much Does It Cost To Visit Xpu-Ha Beach Club
There is a $400 pesos cover charge per person that goes towards your consumption. There are no additional charges for use of beds and lounge chairs nor will you have to pay for parking. $400 MXN pesos is about $20 US dollars and will get an amazing fresh ceviche and a couple of beers or a margarita.
Their menu is also very conscious of picky eaters so there are french fries and chicken fingers for the little ones.
