Casa Paraiso Akumal is a 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom oceanfront villa in North Half Moon Bay, Akumal. This original Akumal home has a distinct architectural style draws from Mayan and Caribbean influences. The villa is located in the gated community of Half Moon Bay, where rocky outcrops and coral reefs create a calm, swimmable shoreline and ideal snorkeling conditions.

Casa Paraiso Akumal has a spacious layout with comfortable sleeping arrangements across two floors. The ground-floor bedroom has two double beds and a full bathroom. Upstairs, you’ll find one bedroom with a king-size bed and private bath, a third bedroom with two twin beds and access to a hallway bath. Each bedroom is air-conditioned, while the open-plan living area stays cool with sea breezes and ceiling fans.

Outdoor Amenities

Guests can enjoy a garden-side swimming pool tucked behind the home, protected from wind and perfect for sunny days. Overall satisfaction
We went to celebrate my 80th birthday and my daughter’s 44th. The place is gorgeous and walking distance to good eateries. We did not need a car which was a plus. The view is spectacular. The hold space open and airy. The bedrooms and common areas both in and outside are a delight. The bedrooms are totally separate from each other which is a plus. The kitchen is very functional and we made most of our own meals. We brought our own snorkeling equipment and SUPs. The folks at LocoGringo were very helpful- we only wish we’d met them in person but were too busy doing stuff. We were all entranced by the iguana, agoutis, coatamundis & birds. The woman who cleaned and man who cared for the outdoors were wonderful.

Only downsides: There are many stone steps which could be a problem for less able guests. Bathrooms are only accessible through bedrooms.
