This was my best rental experience I have ever had. Great location for relaxing. Cleaning services daily and had everything we needed for our stay. I do recommend renting a golf cart as it is a bit of a walk to the main market area. I had a great experience at La Iguana and would gladly stay here again.

What a dream of an airbnb! Very clean, directly on the beach, with two pools and an incredible view over the reef. You can go snorkeling from the shore and it was a great experience to stay there! Also the infrastructure is good, a comfortable bed, a kitchen with everything you need and a couch where you can relax and enjoy the view over the lagoon. We will recommend this airbnb warmly. My husband and I had a wonderful stay at La Iguana! Going to Akumal was a great choice for a relaxing, low-key vacation and I could not believe the price we got for this view! Check-in was easy, there was a daily option for housekeeping, and the hosts were very communicative when we had an issue with the stove. If you're looking to get away from the big party crowds and literally have a little beachfront lagoon to yourself, this is the place to go. We absolutely loved Akumal, the Cenotes, and the entire Caribbean experience! Can't wait to go back.

Perfect location. Amazing view. I was worried about the ac only being in the bedroom, but it did not get too hot in the living area at all. I kept the windows opened for a nice ocean breeze. There’s an amazing Lagoon right next door that offers fantastic snorkeling (went there twice!). Everyone is very friendly. Lá Lunita is a great restaurant that is just around the corner (ocean views and great seafood). I was able to contact the host for anything I needed and the response times were super fact. Overall, a lovely experience. I would definitely stay here again!

This place was a good one bedroom condo for me and my husband. The snorkeling right out front in Half Moon Bay was very good. It’s a rocky entry, be sure to have water shoes. It’s a 5 minute walk from Yal Ku Cenote which also has very good snorkeling and a 2 minute walk to Que Onda Italian restaurant where they make their own linguini pasta, great food. The condo is on the north side of the bay and you can watch the sunset from this side. It had everything we needed for a weeks stay, plus daily maid service. We would stay there again.

Great spot for snorkeling right out the door or close by in a lagoon! Wonderful time! Description is all accurate except to note this unit is up 2 flights of stairs- but contact person, Leticia, followed us to the unit to carry our bags (we are in our late 70's)- a real sweetie and right there every time we called. Plenty of cross ventilation, didn't need air even on a couple of muggy nights. Thought we would miss a balcony, but the unit feels so open & airy it is like being outside (and we stayed drier during the wind/showers!) The Kitchen could use a knife sharpener, but otherwise fine for simple meal prep. Maybe a few more hooks to hang bath, beach towels, etc. Would gladly rent this unit again!

What a wonderful place, it was grate having breakfast every morning with the ocean view, very peaceful. The property manager people were so nice and king.
We loved being there, we would love to go back.

Our room was spacious with wonderful views. Great snorkeling awaits right outside the doorstep at Half Moon Bay. In addition Yal-Ku Lagoon is a short walk away. The hotel has 2 pools great for a refreshing swim after a day at the beach. Would recommend this property to others.

This property was clean and the owners were friendly. I felt it was overpriced. It was a combination of little things. The kitchen only had one coffee cup. The coffeee maker had not filters. The light outside of the bedroon was bright and shone throught the curtain all night miking it had to sleep. There was no tv or internet service, which was fine but it makes me wonder why this unit cost over $100 a night. We can rent a unit in Steamboat Springs for the same price and get a two bedroom with better ammenities. I think the price was off balance for the quality of the unit. It did have a great ocean view. It was on the outskirts of town but we enjoyed the walk.
