Just minutes north of Tulum, Villa Iguana is a spacious 4,000 sq. ft. beachfront retreat on the serene and private shores of Soliman Bay. Built in 2003, this five-bedroom villa offers the perfect blend of traditional charm and modern comfort, ideal for families or groups seeking both relaxation and adventure.

Bedding & Layout
The villa features five bedrooms, each with a king-size bed. Four are located in the main house, including a unique rooftop palapa-style suite with sweeping views of the bay. The fifth bedroom is in a charming guesthouse located in the front garden and includes both a king and a queen bed.

All four ocean-facing bedrooms are air-conditioned and offer private bathrooms adorned with traditional Talavera tile, as well as private terraces with views of the sea or garden.

  • Ground Floor Bedroom: Opens directly to the pool area.

  • Second Floor Master & Guest Bedrooms: Each with a private terrace and ocean views—perfect for enjoying morning coffee on a chaise lounge.

  • Rooftop Bedroom: Features a palapa roof and open-air ambiance with unforgettable panoramic views.

  • Guesthouse Bedroom: Nestled in the garden, with large windows, a palapa roof, and a fresh sea breeze drifting through.

Indoor & Outdoor Living
The villa’s open-concept lower level includes a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and cozy living room furnished with plush cane furniture, dramatic lighting, and artistic details. Glass doors open to a covered terrace and the private pool area, complete with loungers and direct access to the beach.

In the beautifully landscaped front yard, you'll find a shaded dining terrace protected from the sea breeze—perfect for al fresco meals. A beach palapa with hammocks invites afternoon naps or relaxed ocean gazing.

Water Activities & Amenities
Enjoy the calm, turquoise waters of Soliman Bay with the included snorkel gear and kayaks. Whether you're exploring the reef or floating peacefully in the shallows, the bay is always sparkling and inviting.

From the moment we walked into this villa, it was nothing short of amazing. The care that has been put into it by it's caretakers Meynar and Claudia are evident everywhere. The villa was clean and welcoming. It offers all the amenities of a modern home, even drinking water is provided. The villa’s décor is beautiful and very authentic. The pool and outside area were lovely, and we enjoyed the kayaks and laying in the hammocks daily. If you have a chance to have Claudia cook for you I would definitely recommend it, she is an amazing chef! Can’t wait to come back! Such a memorable experience and stay at Villa Iguana!

We have rented this home 4 times over the past 5 years and will definitely be back again. The location is perfect and the home is very clean. Myner and Claudia have taken such great care of us every time and we love interacting with them and their 2 children. Their family has become a part of our family and we look forward to seeing them as much as we look forward to staying in the home. We look forward to our next booking very soon!
